IRON ROUGHNECK (OPTIONAL)

This hydraulically powered tool is capable o handling all

tool joint connections on land rigs and on most platormand jackup rigs. It reduces crew exposure to tubulars, aleading cause o injury.

AUTOMATED PIPE SLIPS

Increase saety on the rig oor (reduces the potential orinjury). Can reduce the number o personnel required topull and set the slips. The lie o the slips is extended byproperly setting the slips each time. This system is ailsae (in case o air pressure loss a saety latch preventsslip engagement).

BOP HANDLING SYSTEM (OPTIONAL)

Methods and apparatus or handling blowout preventerstacks. In one embodiment the handling system includes

a cart, or skid, providing a base platorm, a tilting rame,and a liting rame. The stack is attached to the litingrame, which is supported by the tilting rame, whichpivots relative to the cart. The cart provides or positionaladjustment o the stack in a frst horizontal direction,while positional adjustment in a second, perpendicularhorizontal direction is provided by a lateral adjustmentmechanism coupling the tilting rame and the cart. Theliting rame can be moved vertically relative to the cartand also provides or rotational adjustment o the stackabout its central axis.

IRON DERRICKMAN (OPTIONAL)

The Iron Derrickman is a racking board mounted

pipe handling system designed to eliminate a man inthe derrick or tripping or or pad drilling operations.Designed to mount with little or no modifcations tostandard double and triple masts, the Iron Derrickman willrack double or triple stands o: Drill Pipe, HeavyweightPipe, and Up to 7” Drill Collars.

BOP TEST STUMP AND SKID

This BOP transport skid will accommodate an annular,three pipe-ram preventors and a drilling spool with anintegral test stump. The skid has adjustable plates toallow or a shorter stack and repositioning elements othe stack. The plates are also interchangeable so one skidcan be used to transport either size stack.

DRILLERS & AD CONTROL CABIN (OPTIONAL)

Technologically advanced and ergonomically designedDrillers Control Cabin.

JOYSTICK – WICHITA BRAKE CONTROL (OPTIONAL)

This integrated upgrade solution or older generation rigscombines PLC reliability with a centralized data collectionand monitoring system. It is designed to replace the existingdoghouse knowledge box and to unction as the centralizedoperations control center or several sophisticated technologies,including IADC tour sheet reporting, anti-collision controls,choke controls and drilling optimization applications, as well asCanrig’s DrillSmartTM automated drilling technology.

ROCKIT™This surace rotary steerable system has demonstrated theability to save rig time through increased rate o penetrationwhile sliding, aster toolace setting and improved toolacecontrol. This system’s three unique unctions, oscillationcontrol, toolace orientation and bearing oset control, all

contribute to saer and more efcient drilling operations.

AUTOMATED POWER CATWALK PIPEHANDLER (OPTIONAL)

This radio controlled, easy to operate tool decreases manualtubular handling, with a corresponding reduction in injuries thatnormally accompanies that action. It also reduces damage totubulars and eliminates the cost o a third party laydown unit.

ROTATING MOUSEHOLE (OPTIONAL)This tool allows top drive and conventional rotary drillers toachieve maximum efciency. The drilling crew can quickly andeectively make up and set back stands o drill pipe, whilesimultaneously drilling ahead with the top drive. This tool canbe used as a multi-purpose device to replace the kelly spinner,thus substantially reducing the length o the drilling assembly.

OPTIDRILL (OPTIONAL)

This automatic driller provides a more consistent eed rate othe bit into the ormation, thus improving the drilling rate andreducing the risk o damage to downhole equipment. Fasterrates o penetration requently result in a 20% improvement inthe drilling perormance.

RIGWATCH (OPTIONAL)

This drilling instrumentation product delivers instantaneousinormation on critical well parameters to the driller and

other key personnel. It combines instrumentation on thedata acquisition display, reporting and analysis into acomprehensive, easy to use Windows based system.

HYDRAULIC PIPE TUBS (OPTIONAL)

The Pipe Tub system reduces your personnel rom cominginto contact with moving tubulars. The Hydraulic Pipe Tubscan carry both drill pipe and casing. It suits a variety o drillpipe including range 2 and range 3. The hydraulic systemhas independent controls or each corner to compensate or

unleveled locations.

MYWELLS.COM (OPTIONAL)

This sophisticated internet portal allows drilling inormation tobe disseminated in real-time to locations worldwide, allowingaster, more accurate decision making. It also archives wellinormation to be used in the planning o uture wells.

DIRECTIONAL STEERING CONTROL SYSTEM (OPTIONAL)

This tool increases total on-bottom drilling time by up to 15%and can increase sliding perormance. These accomplishmentsare the result o tool ace orientation and oscillation control,which also reduces hole riction.

TRAINING RIGTRAINING RIG Awell-trained workforce is essential for companies wanting

to compete effectively in today’s marketplace. Comprehensive

training programs result in better safety records, lowe

maintenance costs and improved productivity.

That’s why Nabors International is building a globa

training network. A key component of this network is the

training facility in Oman. It is designed to provide training fo

electricians and mechanics, as well as hands on experience

for drillers.

Rig 208, a fully functional drilling rig, is onsite at the training

center. Students can see frst-hand how this rig works and

how to repair and maintain it.

A functioning Canrig top drive unit is also on site

Technicians are instructed on its performance, what problems

are most common, and how to fx those problems.

The Nabors International training network is designed to

produce and retain a skilled workforce of drilling professionals

that delivers a predictable quality of performance worldwide

It is one more manifestation of our corporate vision, which is

to be the preferred service provider in the drilling industry and

to deliver value to our customers.
