Alcoholic Beverage Policy Guests must be at least 21 years of age to purchase, possess or consume alcoholic beverages at

Kings Island. Valid State issued identification or valid driver’s license is required upon each person purchasing, possessing or consuming alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted while in line for any ride.

Attire & Behavior Shirt, shorts/pants and shoes must be worn at all times while at Kings Island. Unruly behavior,

profanity, obscene gestures, obscene statements, illegal substances and suggestive/offensive clothing or material is prohibited. Soak City — Appropriate swimwear is required. Thongs or transparent clothing are not permitted. Swim diapers are required. Suits with metal buttons, buckles, rivets, zippers or sharp objects are not permitted on body slides. Park management reserves the right to refuse admission or remove from the park without refund any person(s) who do not comply with park rules and regulations.

Family Care Center by Fischer Homes Families are welcome to take advantage of various complimentary services such as

diaper changing stations, bottle warming, Kid-Track registration as well as other amenities.

First Aid Available on International Street across from the exit of the Boo Blasters on Boo Hill ride and in Soak City. First Aid

is staffed by certified Emergency Medical Technicians at all times. Medication cannot be dispensed to minors without parental consent. If you need medical assistance, tell any park associate and he/she will call First Aid and they will come to your location.

Guests with Disabilities Guests with disabilities should stop by Guest Services located at the Front Gate or Soak City for

information regarding park and ride accessibility. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for rental on a first-come, first-served basis at the Front Gate. Accessible restrooms are available and located throughout the park.

Height Measurement Stations A guest’s height is an important safety factor on many rides and attractions. Please visit

one of our height stations located just inside the Front Gate and Planet Snoopy to determine your height. Once the measurement has been taken, the guest will be given a corresponding color coded wristband to eliminate additional height measuring throughout the day.

Inclement Weather Some rides and attractions may suspend operation during severe weather conditions. Operation will

resume as soon as it is safe to do so. Please enjoy a show, meal or shopping until such weather passes. Kings Island cannot issue rain checks or refunds for inclement weather. In case of severe weather, area emergency warning system sirens will sound and further instructions will be given over the public address system.

Kid Track Kings Island offers a service to quickly reunite separated children and parents with cell phones. Please sign

up for this service at Guest Services, Fischer Homes Family Care Center or Soak City Guest Services.

Life Vests Life jackets are provided free of charge. Only U.S. Coast Guard approved floatation devices (pfd) are

allowed. For Tidal Wave Bay, Breakers Bay & Splash River, a lifejacket is required for anyone who is less than 48" tall in bare feet or is an inexperienced or non swimmer. Guests less than 42" tall must wear a lifejacket and be accompanied by a supervising companion.

Line Jumping Cutting in front of other guests who are already in line, saving a place for someone or leaving a line and

attempting to re-enter at the same point is defined as line jumping and is not permitted at Kings Island for any reason. Any guest who line jumps — regardless of the reason — may be asked to go to the end of the line, leave the ride entirely or leave the park with no refund given.

Lockers Lockers are available for rent at the Front Gate, Action Zone near the entrance to Banshee, Rivertown near the

entrance to Mystic Timbers, Coney Mall near the entrance to Firehawk and in Soak City.

Loose Articles Most rides cannot accommodate loose articles including cell phones, pagers, hats, cameras, stuffed

animals, purses, backpacks, umbrellas, beverage containers, personal entertainment devices, etc. Items must be safely secured in cargo pockets, in a bin on the ride platform if available, left in a locker or with a non-rider. On Banshee, Firehawk and Mystic Timbers, loose items are not able to be stored on the ride platform area.

Lost & Found / Claimed Items Held at the Park Entrance If you lose an item on a ride, we will search for the article as soon as

possible. In order to keep the ride in operation an immediate search is not possible. Please visit the Lost & Found Booth located outside the Front Gate or Soak City Guest Services to complete paperwork to ensure the item is returned to you if it is found. FOR YOUR SAFETY, DO NOT ENTER UNAUTHORIZED AREAS FOR ANY REASON. You may be seriously injured if you enter an unauthorized area. If your item has not been found by the time you leave the park, please go to visitkingsisland.com/lostandfound, and you will be guided through our automated lost and found system.

Outside Food & Beverages No outside food, beverages or coolers are permitted to be brought into Kings Island

or Soak City. Guests with special dietary needs should stop at Guest Services located at the Front Gate upon arrival at the park.

Photos & Videos The taking of pictures and video while riding any of the attractions except for the Eiffel Tower and

K.I. & Miami Valley Railroad is strictly prohibited at Kings Island. Guests taking pictures or video while riding may be asked to leave the park with no refund and given a misdemeanor under O.R.C. 1711.551.

Parent Swap To make it easy for parents with young children to enjoy the rides too, we offer the Parent Swap Program. Here’s

how it works: one parent/guardian waits in line to ride a thrill ride or other height restricted attraction. After riding, they give their Parent Swap pass to the ride operator and the other parent/guardian, who has been taking care of the little ones, can walk up the exit or alternate access lane to get right on the ride. To participate in the Parent Swap Program, parents need to obtain a slip to authorize them for the program at Guest Services located at the Front Gate.

Service Animals Service animals are welcome at Kings Island. Service animals must be physically controlled on a leash or

harness at all times. Service animal relief stations are located near the restrooms by Backlot Stunt Coaster and near the restrooms in Soak City Water Park by Tropical Plunge. Guests may visit Guest Services located at the Front Gate for additional information. Pets of any kind are not permitted.

Readmittance If you wish to leave the park and return on the same day, please have your hand stamped at the Front Gate

or Soak City. If you wish to leave the parking lot and re-enter, present your parking receipt to the attendant when you return. Passholders can re-enter by using their season pass card. Re-entry restrictions may apply during special events.

Ride Rating System Some rides are restricted to guest participation by guest height, size and physical condition. All

Kings Island rides are rated according to the various ride experiences. The ratings are posted at the ride entrances. Use these ratings to determine which rides will be appropriate for you. 1 is for mild rides, 5 for the most aggressive thrill rides.

Smoking For the convenience of all our guests, smoking of any kind, including vapor and e-cigarettes, is allowed only in

designated smoking areas. Please refer to our map on the reverse side for specific locations. Smoking is not permitted in any theater, ride or waiting area and any indoor or outdoor restaurant. Thank you for your cooperation.

Weapons Unauthorized weapons or firearms, of any kind, are not permitted on park premises.

Ride Safety RequirementsMany rides at Kings Island are dynamic and thrilling. There are inherent risks in riding an amusement ride. For your protection, each ride is rated for its special features, such as high speed, steep drops, sharp turns or other dynamic forces. If you choose to ride, you accept all of those risks. Restrictions for guests of extreme size (height or weight) are posted at certain rides. Guests with disabilities should refer to our Ride Admission Policy at Guest Services. Participate responsibly. You should be in good health to ride safely. You know your physical conditions and limitations. Kings Island does not. If you suspect your health could be at risk for any reason, or you could aggravate a pre-existing condition of any kind, DO NOT RIDE!

Guests with a history of recent surgery, heart trouble/high blood pressure, neck trouble, back trouble or any other condition which may be aggravated by riding or who are pregnant, should carefully heed all warning signs at each ride entrance. If you are in doubt about your ability to safely experience a ride or would like more rider information, please request our Guest Assistance Guide at Guest Services. We’ll be happy to brief you on our Ride Admission Policy and explain how it applies to your specific situation. We hope we can help you enjoy your day more fully. Ohio state law requires riders to obey all warnings and directions and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injuring themselves or others.

RestraintsAll passenger restraint systems including lap bars, shoulder harnesses and seatbelts must be positioned and fastened properly and tightened securely to allow our guests to ride. Please try our test seats at the ride entrances of Banshee, Diamondback, and Delirium prior to waiting in line.

Loose ArticlesMost rides cannot accommodate loose articles including cell phones, pagers, hats, cameras, stuffed animals, purses, backpacks, umbrellas, beverage containers, personal entertainment devices, etc. Items must be safely secured in cargo pockets, left in a locker or storage bin or left with a non-rider. RIDE OPERATORS CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE ITEMS. Glasses must be secured on all rides. For safety reasons, taking pictures, videotaping and filming on rides is strictly prohibited.

Height InformationSupervise children at all times. Children may be “officially” measured (and receive a wristband if qualified) at our two Height Measurement Stations located just inside the Front Gate and at the entrance of Planet Snoopy. For the safety of your child, a standard play shoe that does not contribute excessively to the child’s height is required. For example, a child is not permitted to wear platform shoes to help meet a height requirement. Kings Island reserves the right to ask that shoes be removed to ensure that a child’s height is not being artificially enhanced or manipulated.Height, weight and age requirements are subject to change. Please refer to the signage at each entrance for current requirements.
