RIDER ALERT Cuesta Students Ride FREE

January 17 - 29, 2012 The beginning of the semester is a great time to start learning, and RTA & South County Area Transit (SCAT) want you to be comfortable riding public transit throughout San Luis Obispo County. Registered Cuesta College students who show a valid identification card OR a Student Schedule shown below can ride FREE on all RTA and SCAT fixed routes for the first two weeks of the Fall Semester, Tuesday, January 17th – Sunday, January 29th, 2012.

To continue the SAVINGS after the free rides are over, purchase a pass. Frequent riders can save even more with an RTA 31-day pass for $40 or a Regional 31-day pass (valid on RTA, SCAT, SLO Transit and all other county-wide transit agencies) for $60. Regional Day Passes are $5.00 and RTA & SCAT 7-day passes are $14, or buy a Stored Value Pass for $15. Reduced rates on RTA 31-day Passes are available at the Cuesta College Main Campus Cashier’s Office, or purchase a regular price pass at any RTA Pass outlet, including conveniently located Rabobank branches throughout the county.
