I was getting mighty thirsty after a 3 mile walk. So we went straight to the source.

My sister made new friends….This picture was taken on a very historical site outside Dublin, the Hill of Tara. This is the equivalent of

livestock grazing at the Lincoln memorial.

This thing was built around 3200 B.C. It took probably 20 years to build. It’s freaking huge! Helluva lot of trouble for someone’s tomb.

Newgrange, Co. Meath

The town of Killarney is a famous tourist trap (my sister spent tons of cash there). The surrounding parks are breathtaking though.

The (very) early Irish were isolated groups living in fortified “houses”. They are found everywhere. This one is along the Ring of Kerry.

We had some minor car trouble….

Sometimes you just had to share the road….

The west coast of Ireland looks like this.Taken along the Dingle Way, Co. Kerry

Yes, this is a two way road….

Seriously, a lot of the countryside looks just like the movies…

So…sometimes it gets lonely traveling with your sister...

The Cliffs of Moher. Simply unreal. It is impossible to do justice to this sight in words.

This is Slea Head. It is the westernmost point of the island of Ireland and this crucifix was placed here so that this would be the last sight of

their homeland as the Irish fled to America to avoid the famine.
