Coming to a place 10,000 miles away from home for college was a huge step. The Richmond Scholars Programs has helped make this transition to college MUCH easier by giving me a support system (my fellow scholars) who I know have always got my back and are always rooting for me, just like I'm rooting for them.
The Richmond Scholars program has empowered me with an unparalleled college experience. From interacting daily with dedicated faculty who strive to foster connections among students, to a close knit community of Scholars, each with their own distinct passions, attending the University as part of the Richmond Scholars program has opened up my education to a world of unprecedented opportunities.
- Sreya Aluri, Hyderabad, India
- Olivia Podber, Atlanta, Georgia
It’s been incredible to have a supportive group of scholars that are already doing amazing work in their first year of college, and knowing the program staff are always there when you have a problem or want to get more involved. I am so grateful for them and the people I have met through this program!
- Suraya Souidi, Lynbrook, New York
The Richmond Scholars program provides the freedom to explore your passions, take risks, and build a variety of skills.
- Riley Place, Bethesda, Maryland
The following events are free and open to the public during your time on campus.
