Payments accepted by cash, cheque (made payable to the City of Ottawa), debit or credit card (Visa/MasterCard).

Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)The Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) of 13% applies to recreation programs, services and materials where applicable and is included in the fees. Existing programs that were GST exempt remain HST exempt – for example, qualifying recreation programs for children 14 and younger and individuals with disabilities.

Withdrawals/Refunds Visit your local recreation facility or any City of Ottawa Client Service Centre to withdraw from a program. If you would like a refund*, you must fill out and submit a Refund Request Form. No processing fee will be charged if the refund is credited to your account. A $25 processing fee will be charged for refunds by cheque or credit card. Refunds will be issued within 21 days of the receipt of the Refund Request Form.

Learn to SwimLearn to Swim classes for all ages and levels are available at 17 City of Ottawa indoor pools. Certification and specialty courses are also available.

He studied music at Carleton University and is proficient in both classical and jazz as well as music theory. Daniel has been a guitarist for the past 10 years and has taught for numerous facilities across the city. He knows the time and dedication it takes to master his instrument and passes on his love of music to students in a fun and educative style with progressive learning in theory, music reading and performance. Daniel teaches in both French and English.

Jamie Anderson Jamie Anderson toured full time as a singer-songwriter for 13 years. Between gigs she taught at Duke University, arts centers and at festivals. In 2004 she moved toward more teaching and now it’s her bread andbutter. Jamie remembers what it was like to learn that first guitar chord, giving her empa-thy and patience with students who might feel like they have five thumbs. She is proficient in many styles, from rock to blue-grass. Jamie also teaches song writing and mandolin. Dog CommunicationCosmin ColteaThe following classes are taught by Cosmin Colţea, www.mycompaniondog.com. For Level 1 and puppy classes, please do not bring dogs to the first class. We reserve the right to remove your dog from the course if inappropriate behaviour becomes a concern for the safety of other dogs or participants.
