Hobbies and Interests
I like to live a healthy life so gave away the smoking and drinking 20 years ago.
Now I do a lot of distance running for cardio, and Martial Arts for fitness and discipline.
Not a player anymore but still a fan or League and Rugby
Also a bit of a motor head – would love a Holden SS Commodore Limited Edition, and give Greg Murphy a run for his money.
Goals and Aspirations
The first half of my life was all about trying to be a good solo dad to my sons, and making ends meet I am happy to report they are both doing well, one a qualified chef the other a mine worker.
So now is my time.
I have always enjoyed cooking and find it very satisfying, hence a decision to put my head down and gain a qualification so I can develop more in the industry.
My dream like most would be to become a top chef and own my own chain of hugely successful restaurants. But unfortunately I love New Zealand and in particular Hawkes Bay so am happy to live in reality and just gain a good job where I can learn more, be part of a team and produce food to be proud of.
