I wanted to share this prayer with you from my personal prayer time that came from "Pray The Word" devotional. I pray and know it will minister to your heart.

The Battle Is the Lord's

Thank You, Father, that You are with me to help me and to fight my battles. Thank You for the authority I have in the name of Jesus and that as I revere Your Name, Your angels encamp around me and deliver me.

Remind me by the Holy Spirit of Your faithfulness, and that You will not let me be tempted beyond what I can bear—but remember my weakness, O Lord, for I feel as if I cannot stand against the evil one.

Guard my heart from prideful thinking that says, "I am standing firm," knowing that this is when I am apt to fall! May I daily put on Your full armor so that I can stand against the devil's schemes. Thank You, Jesus, that You have disarmed the powers and authorities of darkness and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross! Thank You that because I am in You, I share in Your authority! Remind me that the weapon of Your Word is powerful and has divine power to demolish strongholds! And so I ask, Father, that You open my spiritual eyes to the strongholds that yet remain in my life. (Pause and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any area of your life yet untouched by Him.)

Empower me by Your Spirit to demolish every argument that is against the knowledge of Christ. May I be disciplined in my pilgrimage and become a person of Your Word and of prayer, that good intentions might be put to death and greater spiritual fruit be born from my life. Teach me to wield with might the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, for I know that the Word is alive and powerful! May I pronounce Your Word over my sin and the circum-stances of my life, pray Your Word, know and apply Your Word, that it may richly live in me and empower me to live more boldly for You—for surely Jesus is coming soon and I long to be found ready. Amen.

Our Missions Team is selling tickets for an AutoBell car wash experience where half of all funds raised will be used to help subsidize the expenses associated with trip to New Orleans in August. Tickets are $15.99 each and you receive a full service car wash at ANY AutoBell in the country. Tickets never expire, but purchase now as sale dates are limited.
