It will be necessary to remove fasteners from the vertical fitting between rib 3 fwd fitting and rib 2 to help remove the bottom rib boom and end fasteners.

NOTE: Airbus recommends that up to 50% of the lower fasteners in the vertical fitting can be removed to help remove the end two fasteners in the bottom boom. This will also assist in the refitting of these two fasteners.

Separate the boom from the carbon rib web.Use non metallic tools to avoid damage to rib web.
