RFEG ENTITIES:

The RFEG is formed by the organs of the Government: a board with three vice presidents and twelve vowels. It also has an Executive Committee consisting of the Andalusian Federation of Gymnastics, Gymnastics Federation of la Rioja ... It has a committee of judges consisting of six presidents. The Sports Discipline Committee, consists of one president and three vowels. The RFEG has a doping commission formed by a president and four vowels.

THE PRESIDENT:

Jesus Carballo Martinez, is a retired Spanish gymnast who competed in artistic gymnastics discipline. It has been one of the most important Spanish gymnasts in the international scene. Since 2010 he is President of the Spanish Federation of Gymnastics. He is a member of a family in which all members are related to gymnastics and Jesus began to practice with 6 years and with 8 he was proclaimed champion of Spain in its class. His father, also Jesus Carballo, is the Spanish coach of women's artistic gymnastics.

SPECIALTIES

There are 6 specialties:• Rings: The test consists of a series of exercises for strength, balance and equilibrium. The jury assesses the control of the body and the difficulty of the elements of choreography.• Horizontal bar: The gymnast must make moves rotating in acrobatic routine.• Pommel Horse: A typical series pommel horse is based on the movement of the legs, the gymnast must move circularly.• Parallel bars: The test consists of balance exercises (twists and handstands) and strength.• Colt jumping: it comes to jumping on a platform driven by a trampoline.• Soil: are performed acrobatics and gymnastics movements.

Women's Artistic Gymnastics

There are four specialties:• Asymmetric bars: The entire routine should flow from one movement to another without pause.• Balance bar: The gymnast must perform acrobatics, gymnastics and dance to achieve a high score on the bar.• Soil: The gymnast must mix the elements while she must make a versatile use of floor space, changing the direction and rate of movement.• Colt jumping: Depending on the jumping that the gymnast decides to make, it must comply with the requirements of the current Code of Points.

Rhythmic Gymnastics

Rhythmic gymnastics is a discipline that combines elements of ballet, gymnastics, dance and the use of various devices such as rope, hoop, ball, the maces and ribbon.

The gymnast is accompanied by music to keep a rhythm in their movements. We can distinguish two types: individual and sets.

Aerobics:

The aerobics, is a discipline of gymnastics in which routine is executed between 100 and 110 seconds with high intensity movements derived from traditional aerobics. This routine must demonstrate continuous movement, flexibility, strength and perfect execution in difficulty elements.• There are three specialties:• Mixed couples: Man and woman.• Threesomes: Of men, women or mixed.• Groups (6 members): Of men, women or mixed.

Trampoline

Trampoline gymnastics is a sport of gymnastics which involves making a series of exercises for several elastic devices where acrobatics are the main protagonist. It is divided mainly into three specialties: tumbling, double mini-tramp and elastic bed.

Acrobatic Gymnastics:

Acrobatic Gymnastics also known as acro-sport, is a sport of gymnastics in which modalities are male partner, female partner, mixed couple, female trio and male quartet. It integrates three key elements:- The construction of figures that require strength, flexibility, propulsion and balance.- Acrobatics in soil as transitions of some figures to another.- The music, which supports the choreographic component.

THE LAST TOURNAMENT:

The last tournaments have been performed gymnastics in the alevin, Benjamin, first General, senior, infant and junior category, have been in December 2012. One of the most important tournaments, was the Spain's Championship of wholes of Rhythmic Gymnastics in the Municipal Covered Pavilion of Castellon. It was held from 14 to 16 of December in 2012.

ANDREU VIVO DIES. Spanish Gymnastics got up the 31 of December with the tragic news of the death of one of the most important Spanish Gymnastics, Andreu Vivo. A great fighter who was able to overcome all the challenges of gymnastics. A heart attack was carried this young at the age of 34 years. Andreu Vivo, known in the world of gymnastics as "mini", left a great memory and legacy remembering its holdings in Olympic Games of Sydney and as medalist in various international competitions.
