I.The Church as the bride of Christ must promote spiritual prosperity.

A. The Baptist Church is the bride of Christ.

B. As the bride of Christ, she must

To be a help is a great blessing! This is what our theme, “Revival through our Involvement,” exhorts. We should

rejoice that the Lord is offering to us chances to get involved through our various Church ministries. Likewise, He is opening to us opportunities to minister to others by His grace.

Let us welcome these doors of service through our soulwinning pursuits, our teaching programs, our discipleship sessions, our music ministry endeavors, our giving privileges, and our prayer-intercessions. Let us be a help in fulfilling the Great Commission through our area-involvement, through our Church-participation and mission-contribution. Let us be a help in the realization of our Baptist City project by sharing our resources for our lot commitment.

Once again, I enjoin everybody to have a part in the Lord’s work. Surely, everything that we give and every effort that we exert for the Lord through His power and for His glory will be rewarded.

keep herself clean and undefiled.

C. As individual Christians, we must have a goal of being prosperous spiritually.

II. The Church as a building for Christ must progress in size.

A. The Church must constantly progress both in size and in quantity.

B. Members of CBBC-SPL must ear-nestly support the building expansion program of our beloved Pastor. III. The Church as a body of Christ must persevere in its service.

A. The Church of the living God is a busy entity on purpose.

B. Our body must be pushed to work and labour for the Master.

The Ministry for the Deaf has been operative since 1994 with three deaf attendees on its first Sunday service. By God’s grace, there are now hundreds of deaf members attending the church. The CBBC School for the Deaf is one great maintaining factor for the deaf members and an encouraging vehicle for their families and other friends to know the Lord, be saved, and grow in faith.

CBBC School for the Deaf was established in 2000 with eight students. Dr. Ed Laurena saw the need to educate the deaf members with hearing impairment. This is in tune with the church’s

obedience to the Lord’s Great Commission—to preach and teach the Word to every creature. Aside from learning academics, students are being trained in the church to be future leaders, enabling them to minister also to other deaf people. There are already four graduates of the College Deaf Education who have surrendered fulltime in the teaching vocation. To date, there are 77 active students who will be promoted to their next grade level

this coming school year. The Ministry for the Deaf is one of the most, if not the most challenging work in the church. Anybody could minister to

the hearing people, but very few would enter and penetrate the world of the deaf people. Ironically, there are many who are interested, but they lack the sole requirement which is LOVE.

If there are 34 key areas in CBBC, there are deaf people all over these areas. Yet there are only five hearing fulltime workers involved covering those areas. At the same time, these five hearing workers are also the ones teaching in the school. Each of them handles two grade levels, teaching from 7:30 to 5:00 p.m., basically Monday to Friday….all by the grace of God.

Nevertheless, this is a very rewarding ministry. Total immersion into their world will help you grow spiritually, depend on God totally, and live by faith completely (almost). God’s blessings are to those who are ministering to the poor and needy, without expecting in return. The deaf need your two hands, ten fingers, and countless LOVE! Get involved in this ministry and be more blessed.

Ministry for the Deaf

The Youth Campus Ministry is a brand new ministry of our church. This ministry was established last 2008 to extend our ministry to young people. Since majority of their waking time is spent in their schools, we have taken opportunity to teach them to serve God in their respective campuses. This ministry works hand in hand with our Classroom Evangelism Ministry. Our church aims not only to evangelize the youth but also to train them for the fulfillment of the great commission.

The Youth Campus Ministry is equipped with programs and campaigns that mold our youth for the service of God such as:

Youth Campus Ministry

•Dawn Prayer meetings held on or outside school campuses scheduled once a week before the school flag ceremony•Campus Bible Studies which are regular meetings held to help the students grow in their relationship with God.

•Campus Soulwinning Clinics which are special sessions that teach them how to win souls in their classrooms, and to train them in ministering to their school friends

•CampusWide Soulwinning inside school campuses•Big Day campus evangelistic meetings•Freshmen Survival Tactics Orientation Program especially for freshman college students.

Presently, our Youth Campus Ministry is conducted in these four High Schools and two Colleges: •PCNHS – Pacita Complex National High School in San Pedro, Laguna •PEDHS – Pedro E. Diaz High School in Muntinlupa City •MNHS – Muntinlupa National High School in Muntinlupa City •GVBNHS – General Vito Belarmino National High School in Silang, Cavite •PUP – Polytechnic University of the Philippines San Pedro Campus •DLSU – De La Salle University DasmariñasWe also look forward to the establishment of this ministry in other schools as well. We encourage every youth to get involved

and to support our endeavor to reach souls and to train the next generation for Jesus Christ.

nalibing at nabuhay namagmuli. Roma 10:9-104.

iyong puso bilang iyong Tagapagligtas. Roma 10:13
