¿QUIÉNES SOMOS?

I N N O V A C I Ó , I N T E G R A C I Ó I FUTUR, Communication Projects, nace de la ilusión de emprender la aventura de abrir un centro destinado a la innovación en el aprendizaje de idiomas, entendiendo el lenguaje como una herramienta de integración en la sociedad actual, que deberá servir para mejorar el futuro. A los miembros de IIF nos apasiona nuestro trabajo y queremos acercar a los ciudadanos los diferentes idiomas que conviven en nuestra comunidad lingüística como herramienta de integración social.

WHO WE ARE

I N N O V A C I Ó , I N T E G R A C I Ó I FUTUR,  Communication Projects,  comes from the wish of undertaking the adventure of setting up a business aimed at the innovat ion in learn ing languages, understanding language as a unique tool to get integrated into our present society, which will be useful to improve the future. All of us love our jobs and we want to bring together the different languages spoken in our linguistic society as a way of living in harmony.

Somos conscientes del momento en que vivimos, y encaramos el futuro con una innovación tecnológica y de nuevas metodologías de aprendizaje y de enseñanza que servirán para que las generaciones de ahora puedan vivir libremente en un mundo global, siempre desde la justicia y la igualdad de oportunidades.

La academia

Las instalaciones de IIF se encuentran en el centro de Artà, con un espacio que cuenta con cuatro aulas perfectamente equipadas y adaptadas a las exigencias tecnológicas y de aprendizaje actuales.

Experiencia Los miembros de IIF son todos ellos licenciados en filología y cuentan con una larga experiencia en el mundo de la enseñanza, con más de cinco años como director de academia de idiomas, diez años como profesores de idiomas titulados en centros reglados y no reglados de las Islas B a l e a re s , y m á s d e c i n c o a ñ o s coordinando programas Erasmus+ en toda Europa, con centenares de movilidades.

Experience

All the IIF members are graduated in languages and have a lot of experience in teaching. One of them has been running another language school for more than five years, two of them have been teaching in public and private schools for ten years in the Balearic Islands and have been coordinating the Erasmus + for more than five years throughout Europe thus giving hundreds of students the possibility of travelling and knowing other cultures.

PROPUESTA Curso de español en Mallorca para pasar unas vacaciones inolvidables junto al Mar Mediterráneo mientras se aprende español. IIF ofrece la posiblidad de pasar 15 días de aprendizaje durante las mañanas de lunes a viernes, combinado con sol, playa, actividades deportivas, excursiones, fiestas, amigos… durante las tardes, noches y fines de semana. El lugar de acogida es Artà, un pueblo pequeño y tranquilo, un paraíso con 25 km de costa, playas y calas vírgenes, y con un claro ambiente familiar y veraniego.

OBJETIVO

El objetivo de nuestro curso es que estudiantes de todo el mundo de entre 11 y 16 años con la inquietud de aprender o mejorar el español como segunda o tercera lengua, lo hagan en un ambiente familiar y agradable. IIF tiene como objetivo que el aprendizaje de lenguas se convierta en una herramienta de relación, comunicación y socialización entre personas y culturas. Con un espacio adecuado para el aprendizaje y el desarrollo de nuevas metodologías de adquisición de lenguas, IIF ha elaborado una propuesta pensada para adolescentes, y entendiendo que el aprendizaje de una lengua puede formar parte del programa vacacional de nuestros estudiantes.

WHAT WE OFFER We offer a Spanish course in the Mediterranean Island of Mallorca to spend an unforgettable holiday next to the sea whilst learning Spanish. IIF gives you the chance to spend 15 marvelous days combining the morning learning sessions with the afternoon activities which range from beach and sport activities to exciting trips throughout the island from Monday to Friday. The place to be is Artà, a small and peaceful village, a paradise with more than 25 km of coast, beaches and unspoiled coves within a family and summer atmosphere.

OUR AIM

The aim of our course is that teenagers from all around the world from 11 to 16 with the same interest of learning and improving Spanish as L2 or L3 do it within a pleasant and family atmosphere. IIF’s main intention is to turn language into a useful tool of communication and socialization among people and different cultures. With a suitable place for learning and for the developing of new language acquisition methodologies, IIF has prepared an offer for teenagers which is meant to be part of a vacational program while learning a language.

ARTÀ La combinación de patrimonio, tradición, modernidad, naturaleza y turismo hacen de Artà un rincón de la isla de visita obligada para volver, por unos momentos, a la auténtica Mallorca. Artà está situado en la zona noreste de Mallorca y tiene una superficie de 140 quilómetros cuadrados, con 25 quilómetros de costa que aun conservan su estado natural. Gracias a ello, y a un modelo de turismo respetuoso con el medio ambiente, Artà dispone de una reserva marina i un parque natural. Además, destaca la extraordinaria riqueza de elementos patrimoniales del municipio, que son el reflejo de la historia y la cultura, tanto de la gente de Artà como de toda la Isla.

ARTÀ The combination of heritage, tradition, modernity, nature and tourism makes Artà a spot in the island which takes you back, for a few moments, to the authentic

Mallorca. All these things make it a must. Artà is located in the northeast of Mallorca and has an area of 140

square kilometers, with 25 kilometers of coastline that

still retains its natural state. Thanks to that, and to a type of

tourism which is respectful to the environment, Artà has a marine reserve and a Natural Park. In addition, it emphasizes the extraordinary wealth of patrimonial elements of the municipality, which are reflections of the history and the culture of the island.

Horario lectivo:

• De lunes a viernes de 9:00 h a 13:00 h. • 40 horas lectivas de clase de español. • Tardes con actividades programadas. • Visitas y excursiones por Mallorca.

PROGRAMA Mañanas

• Clases de español con profesores nativos de lunes a viernes, de 9:00 a 13:00 horas en la academia IIF.

• Lunes día 9 de julio, prueba inicial y organización en tres grupos diferentes, según el nivel.

• Clases dinámicas, con el uso de las nuevas tecnologías, proyectos de uso de la lengua, introducción a la realidad cultural de Artà y de Mallorca, gincana lingüístico-cultural, conferencias con personalidades de Artà, entrevistas en la radio, creación de blogs y diarios de viaje, pase de vídeos… metodologías de aprendizaje pensadas estrictamente para estudiantes extranjeros de entre 11 y 16 años.

Mornings

• Spanish classes with native teachers from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m to 1 p.m in the school.

• Monday, July 9th, placement test and organization in three different groups, according to level.

• Dynamic classes, with the use of new technolog ies, language pro jects , introduction to the cultural reality of Artà and Mallorca, linguistic and cultural games, conferences with people of interest in Artà, interviews on the radio, creation of travel blogs and diaries, video projections… Learning methodologies strictly designed for foreign students between 11 and 16 years old.

AIRPORT TRANSFER SERVICE

IIF will provide a private transport service for all students arriving at Palma de Mallorca Airport. By means of the flight number and the name of the visitors, an IIF member will wait for the teenagers at their meeting point to accompany them to Artà, which is 70 km from the airport.

SERVICIO DE TRANSPORTE AL AEROPUERTO

IIF pondrá un servicio de transporte privado para todos los estudiantes que lleguen al Aeropuerto de Palma de Mallorca. Mediante el número de vuelo y nombre y apellido de los visitantes, un miembro de IIF esperará los adolescentes en su punto de encuentro para acompañarles hasta Artà, que se encuentra a 70 km del aeropuerto.

ALOJAMIENTO EN FAMILIAS

IIF sigue unos criterios de selección de las familias en el que destaca, sobretodo, la voluntad de los anfitriones a la hora de acoger un estudiante en su casa. Es por eso que controlamos cada uno de los perfiles de las familias de acogida, y tenemos claro que el estudiante tiene que ser, durante quince días, un miembro más de la familia. Por eso pedimos a los miembros que acogen al alumno extranjero que durante su estancia tengan un t ra to humano y una sensibilidad especiales, teniendo en cuenta que el adolescente se encuentra en un entorno, cultura y lugar muy diferentes a los de su casa. Los huéspedes deben saber que estarán en un lugar seguro y plácido durante toda la estancia, y con este objetivo trabajamos en IIF.

*Los estudiantes podrán compartir la misma casa de acogida con otros alumnos extranjeros.

*Deberá indicarse claramente en la hoja de inscripciones.

FAMILY ACCOMMODATION IIF follows a strict selection criteria for families in which, above all, the willingness to host a student in their home is the main priority. That is why we control the profiles of the host families, and we are clear that the student has to be, for fifteen days, another member of the family. That is why we ask the members to give a warm welcome to the foreign students. We ask the families to have special understanding and treat them well with sensitivity, taking into account that the teenager is in a very different environment, culture and place.

Guests have to know that they will be in a safe and placid place during the whole stay, and for this purpose we work in IIF.

*Students will be able to share the same host home with other foreign students.

*It must be clearly stated in the registration form.

¿Qué ofrece la familia?

Comidas: Almuerzo, comida y cena durante toda la estancia. Los días que los estudiantes hagan excursiones la familia les proporcionará un pícnic.

Limpieza de ropa: Las familias limpiarán la ropa a los estudiantes tres veces por semana. Además, habrá cambio de sábanas a los siete días.

Transporte y acompañamiento : Cuando haga falta, las familias tendrán que acompañar a los huéspedes a los diferentes lugares programados durante la estancia. Todas las casas se encuentran a poca distancia, y se puede llegar andando o en bicicleta al centro de Artà.

Fines de semana: El sábado y el domingo las fami l ias organ izarán excursiones y visitas con los huéspedes, siempre y cuando IIF no haya programado una salida en grupo en la que puede incluir, también, la asistencia de los familiares de acogida.

La estancia en familia no garantiza compartir casa con un miembro de la misma edad.

What the family offers

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the whole stay. On the days that the students go on trips, the family will give them a picnic.

Housekeeping: Families will clean clothes for students three times a week. In addition, bedsheets will be changed every seven days.

Transport and accompaniment: When necessa r y, f am i l i e s w i l l have to accompany the students to the different places programmed during the stay. All houses are within walking distance. You can get to the center of Artà on foot or by bike.

Weekends: On Saturdays and Sundays families will organize excursions and visits with the students, as long as IIF has not scheduled a group outing that can also include the assistance of the host family.

Homestay does not guarantee the students to stay with other students of the same age.
