THE PROBLEM

• The problem these days is that people are to focused on looking the best, indulging in entertainment and games, and not maintaining enough revision for test general revision. Surprisingly most students fail or get an unsatisfactory grades due to not revising and our app will help students do this at the same time and not as tedious. Tedious because your given a load of books and data, you have to browse and it’s a hassle searching for exactly the right thing you want. And this app you can just ask a question someone who knows the answer will answer it.

QUESTION• How are app can be appealing for students or anyone else?

• Our app will be bright vibrant and colourful at the same time professional.

• It will have educational multiplayer game system for players to compete at the same time learn something and earn points.

• The points will be used to customise avatar.

• You will also have a profile description, tell me how that’s not appealing and fun.

WHAT OUR APP DOES?• How our app works is that you have a registered account, which you log into which then

shows your avatar and account name with a profile description at the side. You earn points by either answer and educational based question, e.g. how many moons has Saturn got. Someone that knows the answer will answer the question and earn points which then you use to customize your avatar.

• If you feel like you revised then you have an option of multi-gaming education based application in which you compete with one or more players and it’s a race to see who finishes first and obviously if you finish first you earn the most points then the second and third etc.

KEY INSIGHT STATEMENT• How are app can motivate people to use it

• We will use a built in alarm system which will remind you about a forthcoming test before the given date so you have enough time to revise. The alarm system will motivate users due to the constant warning.

• Also the appealing and enjoyable look of our app will motivate you to use it.

PITCH• Revision U is designed to have revision information

constructed for students who need help, it is an interactive, enjoyable and as well as a very useful app. Usually, Revision consists of you pulling out your textbook and reading large amounts of information. In addition chunky information can sometimes be complex this adds to the pressure of fully understanding on what you are revising. Our revision app is helps students avoid these problems because our app is simple concise and organized. With Revision U, you’ll be learning the same amount of information but in an interactive, easier and more enjoyable way.

• Sam is a student who attends Shireland Collegiate Academy

• He lives in Smethwick.

• He has an upcoming test which will decide the pathway to how he lives his life.

• He wants to have a good job and live a happy life.

• He wants the best job he can get because of the income.

• The problem is that his unhappy about his test result and wants to get better

• He wants to revise but the method of revision he does, he finds it boring

• He wants to find a way in which he can revise and enjoy revising at the same time.

• In the app market people haven’t made enough apps for revision and the ones that have already been made aren’t as eye-catching and sleek.

• The apps are all information and the content is dull.

• Our app changes the way revision is normally done and incorporate more fun into it.
