Revision Timetables
Learning Objective: To plan a revision timetable using the learning from this unit.
Planning a Revision TimetableDuring this lesson, you are going to put together everything
you have learned about effective revision to create a revision timetable.
Base your timetable on the Easter Holidays when you will have two weeks to revise at home.
Remember you may be attending extra revision classes during this time so you may want to leave some space free.
Planning a Revision TimetableBefore you start planning your timetable, think about the following:
• Where are you going to revise?
• How long are you going to spend on each subject per day? Think about the percentage of the exam, which subject you find the most difficult etc.
• What are you going to do in your breaks? How are you going to treat yourself?
• What food/drink are you going to have to boost your brainpower?
• What methods of revision are you going to use? E.g. Mind maps, past papers?
• How much time are you going to allow for going over previous revision?
