Dear Parishioners,
As we continue to live through these
days of the Corona Virus, let us dedicate
ourselves ever more to prayer and works
of charity.
Our Lady will guide us as we make our
way to the Cross, and the celebration of
Easter. I offer this prayer, revised from
an original by Saint Gertrude (13th centu-
ry):
O Immaculate heart of Mary, I have noth-
ing in myself to offer you that is worthy of
you; but what thanks ought I not to give
you for all the favors that you have ob-
tained for me from the heart of Jesus! What reparation
ought I not to make you for all my lukewarmness in your
service! I desire to return you love for love. The only good
that I possess is the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which you your-
self have given me. I offer you this treasure of infinite price;
I cannot do more, and you do not deserve less at my hands;
but receiving from me this gift most precious in your sight,
be pleased, I ask you, to accept my heart, which I offer to
you and I shall be forever blessed. Amen.

Coronavirus Disease
Bishop Vasquez has put measures in place for all the
parishes of the Diocese to limit the spread of the flu
(influenza) and virus. These measures are temporary
and they are in place in order to protect the health of every-
one at Mass.
Please visit the parish website, santacruzcc.org for updated

If you are ill, please refrain from attending Mass. When a per-
son is sick or bound to their home or who is at risk for con-
tracting this flu and virus can fulfil the obligation of Sunday
Mass by participating in Mass via radio or television.

put in place temporarily by our Diocese.

THE SANTA CRUZ CATHOLIC SCHOOL ADVISORY
BOARD is accepting applications for new
board members. The purpose of the
Board is to advise the Pastor and the
Principal of Santa Cruz Catholic School
on matters related to the operation of
the school. Elected Advisory Board members are volunteers
serving a two-year term and actively participate on a com-
mittee of choice. Board members regularly attend Advisory
Board meetings and support the mission and development
of the school. If interested, applications are available in the

TOTAL CONSECRATION TO JESUS THROUGH MARY
A Mass of Consecration of Jesus Through Mary is scheduled
for Wednesday, March 25, the Annunciation of the Lord at
7:00 p.m. preceded by the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. This bi-lingual
Mass is coordinated through the Legion of Mary. Everyone is
welcome to participate in this special event of grace.

ed them in the Valentines dinner and dance
they sponsored. Because of your support,
not only for the dance but also their bake
sales and other events sponsored by them,
they were able to give back to Santa Cruz .
