Kids Club
Kids Club/After Hours will be reopening in alignment with the grade-level staggering return of
students. Program staff are very excited to see your children and will be implementing mitigation
strategies aligned with those during the school day including cohorts, face coverings, hand washing and
social distancing, when feasible and to the extent possible. If you are interested in signing your child
up, you may do so online. For more information, visit Community Education or call 480-541-1500.
PE Equipment for September 8-11
Next week's PE lesson for all grades will focus on wands. Wands are wooden dowels that we use to
balance, stretch, go over and around, etc. Please have one "wand" that is 1-3 feet in length with you
for PE class. Ideas: Half of a pool noodle, paper towel roll, ruler or yardstick, markers stuck together,
a plastic bat, empty plastic water bottle, wooden mixing spoon, tightly rolled piece of paper taped
closed.
