THE Gold Coast office mar-ket has bounced back andposted its lowest vacancyrate since the global fi-nancial crisis, with the 2018Commonwealth Gamestriggering a boost in in-vestment, says Ray WhiteCommercial.
Ray White Commercialhead of research, VanessaRader, said a rebound in thesecond half of 2015 and
another year of positive netabsorption brought the totalvacancy position of the cityto 13.6%, the lowest ratesince July, 2008.
“With international eyeson Gold Coast in 2018 withthe Commonwealth Gamesthere have already beensome increases in invest-ment by both local and offshore developers,” Ms Rad-er said in the Between the
Lines Gold Coast OfficeMarket Report February2016.
Ms Rader said the va-cancy position of the GoldCoast had been steadilyimproving over the past fewyears after the total marketresult peaked at 23.3% inJuly, 2010, falling to its cur-rent low of 13.6% in January,2016. Further inquiries toMs Rader on 0432 652 115.

Ms Ryan said the vendorwas the original local deve-loper who completed thebuilding in 2007 and workedwith Ray White CommercialNoosa and Sunshine CoastNorth to sell and lease theretail development to a mix

“The sale reflects thecurrent strong demand forinvestment property in the$500,000 price range on boththe coast and hinterlandareas of the SunshineCoast,” she said.
