Bryn Mawr is located toward the center of what is known as the Main
Line, a group of affluent Philadelphia suburban villages stretching from
the city limits to Malvern. Some other Main Line communities include
Ardmore, Wynnewood, Narberth, Bala Cynwyd and Villanova. Bryn Mawr
is situated across from Radnor and Haverford Townships in Delaware
County, Pennsylvania, and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery Coun-
ty, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia along Lancaster Avenue (US-
30) and the border with Delaware County. As of the 2000 Census, the
Bryn Mawr ZIP code was home to 21,485 people with a median family
income of $210,956. Residents are part of the award-winning Lower
Merion School District. The median house value within Bryn Mawr was
at $274,500 in 2010-2014 and had grown by 89.57% since 2000. The
house value growth rate is higher than the state average rate of 70.00%
and is much higher than the national average rate of 46.91%. A suburb
of Philadelphia, Bryn Mawr is 40± minute drive to Center City Philadel-
