Projects

Final Year Project : Gasification of Biomass

This project is about the thermal conversion of any carbon-based material with a small amount of air or oxygen in a heated chamber, into a mixture of combustible gases called syngas composed of hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and some trace compounds. We used syngas as a fuel for energy production. We designed gasification plant and fabricated it at small level that can run a small generator of 1 KW. We have also designed other auxiliaries like cyclone filter, fabric filter and a heat exchanger so that syngas can be cleaned to use.

Semester projects : CFD simulation of Ahmed Car Body and comparison to experimental data. Laminar Pipe flow with heat transfer (Two Dimensional) using ANSYS Fluent. Design, Modeling and testing of rotational Shaft using Solid Works and ANSYS. Design and modeling of Centrifugal Pump. Water Level indicator using microcontroller programming in Proteus. Control system of Inverted Pendulum. Student data records by using Visual basic C++.
