Bruno Ribeiro was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 1989, but in his heart he stems from Paraiba. Author,

translator and screenplay writer, Ribeirose-book Poluio Mental (MentalPollution)was published in

2011 and his work has appeared in newspapers, blogs and short-story collections. A Spanish edition of his

novel Arranhando Paredes (Scratching Walls,Bartlebee, 2014) was published in 2015 by Argentinian

publishing house Outsider. Ribeiro has a master's degree in Creative Writing at Universidad Nacional Tresde Febrero in Buenos Aires and he is the editor of Sexus magazine and the Quebrando o Gnio blog. His

short story "The Art of Dying or Marta Diptera Brachycera" was one of the winners of the "Brasil em

Prosa" contest.
