Skills: Technical Software Development using AGILE philosophy and various languages
I am familiar with current software development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban,
Extreme Programming). I gained this knowledge through a university run program
(Software Development Studio) that aims to simulate real workplaces and the
curriculum.
I can program using: Java, C, C++, Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, XML
Front-End Development
I have experience developing front-end solutions for my current workplace where I
intern. I am aware of the latest trends in web development and appreciate the
nuanced conditions under which websites – progressively morphing into web
applications – must operate.
I am well-versed in responsive design, touch-enabled websites, one-page web
applications and enduring UX design. I have a passion for both the aesthetics and
technicalities of web development.
Skills: Transferrable Leadership and Project Management
I have directed teams of 4-6 people into action towards a shared set of objectives with
great success several times in the past.
I headed a team of 5 in an inter-university program called Univative where we
competed to win a corporate brief. This required oversight of a wide range of tasks
that were carried out by my team. I also kept everyone aligned with a greater vision.
During this time I attended a Brian Tracy leadership program and managed to apply its
principles to galvanise the team into a cohesive whole.
Communication Skills
I have participated in a Facebook hackathon where I had the principal duty of crafting
our pitch and presenting it to a host of judges. I write creative works regularly and
present them to a writer’s society on a monthly basis – to a crowd of 20-30 or so
people on a good night.
Moreover, I have written excellent reports and delivered presentations in a variety of
situations: Toastmasters meetings, university classes, Skype training calls to colleagues.
I also enjoy tutoring friends and making complex engineering ideas digestible.

Strong Work Ethic and Time Management Skills
I have volunteered in university programs in 2015, studied a full-time degree (with
great results), managed part-time work and interned at a startup, where the
boundaries of my role are blurred to the point that I am working on multiple mini-
projects.
Overall, I have managed my responsibilities in different aspects of my life with delicacy
and remained persistence. I will deliver the same wherever I go.
