INTERNSHIP INFORMATION
220KV GRID SUBSTATION MADAR, AJMERSUMMER INTERNSHIP (45 days)I choose a substation because here I can learn about transformers, protection of power system ,transmission and distribution with all of their practical aspects. Transmission voltage is 220KV that isfed to the GSS and in the same GSS, it step down to 132KV, 33KV and primary distribution voltage11KV. I learnt operation, maintenance of the a substation.Moereover I learnt many new aspects about practical actions in power system stability that enhancedmy understanding of power system.PLCC structure and how is beneficial in data transmission to LDC and protection, this is also I havelearn during this summer.
PROJECTS
IIT Roorkee (electronic section project)DUAL AXIS SOLAR TRACKER (One month)I was mentor of a ARDUINO bases project on "Dual Axis Solar Tracker".In this project we build asolar tracker that can adjust it's alignment according to the maximum incident light.This project won second prize in "HOME AUTOMATION CATEGORY" in Srushti, local IITR festival.
IIT RoorkeeBUCK CONVERTER (One month)I have done a project on BUCK converter under prof. S.P.Sharma.I, Ashish choudhary, SameerAhmad designed a BUCK CONVERTER and construct it as a single circuit.We used a driver circuitand micro controller to reduce the voltage,that was generating from solar PV cells, from 40V to 18Vusing Pulse Width Modulation
