By Jen, Katy, Olivia and MillieQuestionnaire Results We created a questionnaire for each of our adverts so we could get feedback on them. This will help us to see the parts of our products which could be better and also the parts which people understood and liked. We asked 15 people and the majority of them were from the target audience we were hoping the campaign is aimed at. If I asked 50 year old men then it would not be a reliable set of results because they will not see the campaign in the same way a teenage girl will. Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer

1) Do you think the model is suitable? All 15 people I asked said they thought that India was a suitable model for the advert. 2) Do you think the clothes are appropriate for the advert?7% of people I asked said they didnt think the clothes were suitable for the advert, this means that 93% said they did.3) Do you think the music fitted with the season of clothes?12 out of 15 people said they thought the music fitted in with the season of clothes.4) Do you like the composition of the model within the frame of the camera? The majority of people asked said they liked the composition of the model with only 1 person in the questionnaire saying they didnt. 5) Did you like the locations?Around 27% of the people asked said the locations could have been better. Therefore only 73% of the audience thought the locations where suitable. 6) Do you think he promotes the clothes well?12/15 said that the clothed were promoted well. 7) Is the message of the clothes clear?100% said they thought they understood the message.8+9) What did you like/not like?8) What did you particularly like?9) Is there anything you didnt like? The professional videoN/ALoved the locations and clothes were suitableCould be more modelsLike the editing eg flashes, similar to misguidedBar shots The cinematography Sponsorship sequence could have been smootherThe fast pace and the musicNoThe music, locations and the outfits No Skyline shotNoThe jumpy shotsPossibly more footage in front of carRange of situationsCamera movement could have been more subtleThe clothes NoSummary of A/W and S/S advertOverall the questionnaire for A/W and S/S was fairly positive. We understand that not everyone is the same therefore not everyone will understand the message we are trying to portray or even like the advert. 100% of those who did the questionnaire said they believed that the model was suitable and also that they understood the message of the clothes. If we look at the audience as passive and add the culmination theory, then they will have viewed the model as appropriate because they have been exposed to ideologies over a period of time about what it is to be beautiful. They have then blindly accepted that our model is this. We were happy with this as we believe the message is a very important thing to understand. We believe that people thought the model was suitable because she is a similar age to those who we are trying to entice to the business, therefore girls can relate to the model as they are similar ages. 12/15 said the music was fitted well to the seasons of the advert and also said the clothes were prompted well. This is a good number of people therefore we are happy with our choice of songs. 93% said that the clothes were appropriate which is important for the audience to think because if they weren't then they will not want to shop at FYI.

However there were some negatives about the locations with one saying she thinks the locations need to be everyday places like cafes or cinemas. Overall 27% didnt like the locations therefore we feel that we could of added more everyday locations to make it more realistic. Also we asked the questions on things that people didnt like. Although some said there wasnt anything they didnt like others said there were. We asked this to see what others didnt like about the production so we can see where we have made a few mistake which will help us later on in other projects. Someone said they would prefer it if we had more models. This is something we did look in to however we deemed it as not suitable as we werent able to create a film schedule around2 more models due to other commitments. Radio advertIn the radio advert the person speaking listed different types of clothes and then we layered another list of clothes on top of that. This was to connote that the online clothing shop contain a wide variety of clothes; to show the diversity of FYI. We also presented a beat in the background to make it more fun and to connote the brands message of the business being out going and diverse. 1) Do you think the beat fits in with the adverts? This graph above shows the majority of people who took the quiz thought the beat fitted. However 4/15 said it didnt. 2) Do you think what is said is relevant?12/15 thought that what is said is relevant. This means they feel they have received enough information about FYI. 3) Do you think the voice fits in with the business?Out of the 15 we asked, only 1 person said they didnt think the voice fitted well. 4) What station would you expect to hear this advert on?We asked the audience where they think they would except to hear this advert in order to give us an idea which institution to play the advert on. 5) Does the advert give enough information on the website?100% said that they feel there is enough information given. 6) What did you particularly like?

6+7)What did you like/ not like?Summary of Radio advertWe wanted to create a radio advert which is fun and different. By doing so we added in a beat to the background while someone said the different types of clothes which are on offer. 11/15 said the beat fitted in however this means 27% didnt like the beat. On question 7 where they were asked what they didnt like, 2 people said the beat didnt fit. Therefore we think the beat would need to change in order to sound better. We also felt that the beat wasnt appropriate and didnt fit in so this is something we could change before we broadcast our radio advert. 14/15 said that the voice used fits in with the business. We believe this is because the voice is a teenage girl promoting teenage girl clothes, therefore they can relate to the girl. 100% said they think there was enough information. We believe this is because we added in the website address which will lead you straight to the clothes online. By adding the sites address it makes it easily accessible. We could apply this to Gauntletts theory of the empowered female as the beat in the background proves that the person listing the clothes is empowered as she says the clothes in the order she wants to say them in.Sponsorship Advert

1) Do you think the brand is suitable for the program? This question is asked to ensure the audience feel the sponsorship advert fits in with the programme. 13/15 feel that it does. 2) Do you think the use of only one outfit is suitable?11/15 believe the use of one outfit is suitable. 3) Do you understand the relevance of the advert going in to the jewelry box at the end of the sequence?10/15 said that they understand the relevance of the jewellery box.4) What did you particularly like?

4+5) What did you like/not like?Summary of Sponsorship advertWe created a sponsorship advert for Pretty Little Liars. 13/14 said they thought we created an advert which was suitable for the program. We believe that it could be possible that the 2 people who said no could not of watched the advert therefore they didnt know weather is did or not. Also 13/15 said they thought the use of one outfit was suitable, which we think is because it is a quick and short advert therefore its not necessary to use lots of different outfits. The reason for the sponsored advert is so that people know what the business is therefore we didnt think it was necessary to include more outfits. 10 out of 15 said they understood the relevance of the jewelry box. We think that because we have tried to create a sophisticated connotation for the 3 frames moving in to the box, this could be too complex for the audience we are aiming at. When asked what they particularly liked a lot said most people said they thought the effects were good which we are happy with as we liked the effects we added in as we believe it fitted in well with the music. We thought the majority of the audience would like the effects as it helped us to create a conventional sponsorship sequence. 1) Do you think all the adverts like together as a campaign?100% said they think the promotion package all links together. 2) Would the advert convince toy to look at our website?13/15 said they were convinced to look at the advert. 3) Do you think you are the correct target audience for our brand?13/15 said they think they are the correct target audience. Summary of overall questionnaire100 % said they think the adverts all link together as a promotional package. Also 13/15 said that the advert has enticed them to look at the website. The other 2 might have different taste in clothes as we are aware that not everyone will like the same clothes. 13/15 saying they think they are the correct target market. We think that the 2 people who dont think they are is because they were slightly older than the target audience we picked however they told us that they believe it is for 16-24 year olds. 31
