    DEDICATION

This book is dedicated in loving memory to

    Suzanne Nagel McConaughey

    May 24, 1928 August 1, 2011

Mom was a classical pianist and taught me to love gloriousmusic. As a small child, I watched in rapt amazement as she

played classical music. Mom paid the price to become aconcert pianist by practicing up to six hours daily during herteenage years.

Mom loved to entertain her five children by playing showpieces, jazz and the classics on her Steinway baby grand pianowith ivory keys. We loved to dance to the boogie woogie

pieces she played. We will never forget the beauty and glory ofthe music that she imparted to us. I only had to practice an houra day and Mom was my teacher. The minstrel anointing wasupon mom who had the grace and passion to enable her toachieve incredible skill. What an awesome woman!

Unfortunately, I joined in the rebellion of my teenage siblings

and we strayed from the gift and blessing for a time. All threeof us stopped taking piano lessons from mom on the same day.It was a huge and foolish mistake. My brother took up theguitar and started a rock band. After converting my life toChrist in 1974, I learned the guitar and led worship and choirsfor years before coming back to my roots at the piano.

After privately using the piano for devotional praise andworship for many years, the Lord has opened doors to leadpraise and worship in various places. I am always amazed at

    5

how His presence comes when I begin to play a few simplenotes on the keyboard. I am grateful for the impartation andgrace given to me through my dear mother to love heavenlymusic.

Mom is present with the Lord and perhaps is playing for Him inheaven. I know she is delighted to worship Him with all herheart. I joyfully dedicate this book to our memory of her.

    INTRODUCTION

    END TIMES PRAISE AND WORSHIP

On May 5, 1973, I paid $5 to attend the largest outdoor concertever held (of its time) for a single performer. 55,799 otheryoung people gathered at Tampa stadium for a two and one halfhour performance of the English sensation, Led Zepplin, one ofthe hottest rock bands of that day. We arrived about six hoursbefore the concert started and sat on the grass at the thirty yard

line facing the monstrous stage in the end zone.

For several hours, the fragrance of cannabis filled the air andlungs of most of the attendees. A thirty foot wall of speakersadorned each side of the stage and piped music created a festiveatmosphere. The stadium filled to capacity as the crowdanticipated the extraordinary gifts of Jimmy Page, John

Bonham, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones.

When the concert began, thousands of adoring fans rushed thestage and I was crushed in the madness. The sound from thewall of speakers was so outrageously loud that I could not standit. I pushed my way through the crowd and climbed thebleachers to find some space and distance from the wildness on

    the field.

I watched in shock as I saw thousands of fans dancing in afrenzy directly in front of those speakers. While that wasconsidered one of the greatest days in Rock n Roll history, Ileft grieved in my spirit. Even though I did not know

    7

  • 7/27/2019 Restoring the Tabernacle of David

    8/123

Jesus at the time, I found something extremely troubling aboutthe trance like devotion tens of thousands had to these talentedmusicians.

Led Zepplin reportedly sold 300 million albums and performedin countless concerts around the world1. Led Zeppelin is theband that moved rock towards heavy metal music. They tookNorth America by storm along with other major bands. It wasa time of sex, drugs and rock and roll which was rooted in arebellion against God and His word.

Church leaders protested the onslaught of rock and roll andrightly said that it was rooted from Satan. However, thetsunami wave of rock music drowned out the cries of theprophets and buried a generation in a cultural avalanche of epicproportions.

Today, the lyrics and music of those early rock bands is

extremely mild in comparison to the various dark genres ofmusic to be found including intense wicked forms of metal, black metal, death metal, grindcore, porncore, punk metal andhard core satanic music. Gangster rap is mild compared tosome of the abusive black metal bands that exist. According toWikipedias encyclopedia, there are 15 major genres of popularmusic in North America including over 500 sub genres. Ofthose styles of music, I only counted two that were clearlyChristian.

    The Human Spirit

God created the human spirit to sing and make music to praiseand worship the Creator. All humans have a built in longing topraise and worship. Everyone is impacted by music at some

    8

    9/123

level. Music stirs the human spirit and engages it for good orevil.

When a person agrees with or buys in to a specific music genre,

he or she is connecting their human spirit with the spiritual flowof that music. The things that cause you to sing, dance, clap orengage in are the things to which you ascribe worth. This isthe classic definition of worship.

As a teenager in the sixties, I purchased a large collection ofrock and roll albums and listened to them regularly. When we

listen to music, we are drinking in the stream that it comesfrom. This often leads to a form of idol worship. The streamwe drank from in the sixties has grown into a raging river ofdemonic music that is polluting the spiritual atmosphere andcorrupting the hearts and minds of millions.

Most music has an entertainment value that ranges from sacred

to satanic and everything in between. People of all culturesenjoy forms of music because their human spirit longs forexpression.

The rock and roll generation ushered in a wave of worship thatcalled rebellion freedom. Much of the fruit of Americanculture has ripened into a self-centered, rebellious and sensualpleasure based youthful generation that is frightening. Themajority of our young people are getting into agreement withdemonic music and they do not realize it.

There are many forms of worship including love of money, movie star idol worship, lust and sexual perversion, carnaleating and drinking, drug abuse and countless false religions. The primary engine that powers idol worship in America is

most forms of the music and entertainment industry because ofthe prophetic and spiritual nature of this medium.

    9

  • 7/27/2019 Restoring the Tabernacle of David

    10/123

When my wife Glenda and I ministered in the inner city, weencountered many young people memorizing long sensual rapsongs and various music. They imitated the dance moves of

Soul Train with abandonment. Sensual videos have taken ourculture rapidly down the slippery slope towards a modernSodom and Gomorrah.

Some Christian music is humanistic and strongly influencedby pop culture. The music in and of itself can have a source inthe dark realm even if the words have Christian lyrics. There is

great mixture in church music and this is part of a warfareagainst pure heavenly worship flowing through anointedminstrels and psalmists.

By Gods grace, we have contended for pure prophetic musicthat worships God in spirit and in truth. Pure music inspires thehuman spirit. It does not stimulate the flesh nor engage the soul

in an unrighteous manner. Those who long for truth enter inand experience degrees of His ever increasing release ofrevelation and glory.

    The Restoration of Pure Worship

For the LORD has driven out from before you great and

strong nations; but as for you, no one has been able to stand

against you to this day. One man of you shall chase a

thousand, for the LORD your God is He who fights for you,

as He promised you. Therefore take careful heed to

yourselves, that you love the LORD your God.

    Joshua 23:9-11

Even though we may be outnumbered 1,000 to 1 in the battleagainst demonic music, when we flow in perfect agreement

    10

  • 7/27/2019 Restoring the Tabernacle of David

    11/123

with the Angel of the Lord in worship, two in agreement can put10,000 to flight2.

This is a vital principle to understand because in many places

where we lead worship, there may only be a handful of pureworshippers present. But 10 or 20 devoted worshippers can beled by the Spirit to overcome the pollution of millions of carnalworshippers around the globe. That is how awesome our God iswho comes to be enthroned above the praises of His people. Heshines His light and the darkness has to flee!

God is going to restore the Tabernacle of David so that He candraw all peoples to Himself. Pure Davidic style worship flowsfrom a passionate heart that seeks intimacy with God. It isvisionary and experiential music that mirrors the sights andsounds of heaven. In order to flow in this type of worship, theanointed psalmist must be able to see, hear and

sense in the realm of the spirit, those songs and rhythmspleasing to the Father.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom,

teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns

and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the

Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the

name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father

    through Him. Colossians 3:16,17

The psalmist must also let the word of God dwell richly in herheart so she can flow in biblical psalms, hymns and spiritualsongs. The word of God is living and active and throughanointed song engages the human heart in a powerful way3.

David was a pure worshipper that had both a psalmist andminstrel anointing. He was also a warrior that took the land andbrought peace and prosperity to Solomons generation. We arecalled to partner with God in restoring this tabernacle of Spirit

led prayer, praise and worship in this hour. God plans to restorethis tabernacle until it culminates with the Bride and the Spiritcontinuously crying out for Him to Come4! When thefullness of time arrives, Jesus Christ, the King of Glory, willcome to earth in response to this final intercessory push5.

CHAPTER 1 THE HEART OF OUR FATHER

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true

worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; forthe Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit,

and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and

    truth. John 4:23,24

The heart of our Father is seeking true worshippers. Thisincludes those who will pray, fast, prophecy, sing, dance, praise,

worship, play anointed music and do prophetic acts by theleading of the Holy Spirit. In order to worship in spirit, wemust be in tune with and flowing in the Holy Spirit. Just as theSpirit helps us pray, the Holy Spirit guides us and enables us toworship God in spirit6.

We have to know and understand the word of God and obey His

voice to worship Him in truth. Our daily life is to walk out ourworship in pure living according to Gods word. Far too manyworshippers fail to walk out their worship in the real world. There are higher levels of spiritual warfare and temptations thatcome to those who walk in higher levels of anointed praise andworship as David did.

David was tempted by lust when he avoided going off to war

    7

.We can be overcome by this world and its lusts when we fail towalk in truth and fight the good fight of faith8. Trueworshippers are yielded vessels, embracing the cross

of Christ daily, who only do what is on the Fathers heart andmind.

    A Faithful Priesthood

Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do

according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I willbuild him a sure house, and he shall walk before My

    anointed forever. I Samuel 2:35

We are Gods New Testament royal priests called to offer upspiritual sacrifices pleasing to the Lord9. We are called to seekHis face and will and do it with all our hearts like David did.

I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own

heart, who will do all My will. Acts 13:22

David was passionate to discover what was on the heart andmind of his heavenly Father. David meditated on Gods writtenword day and night. Like David, we must be diligent in seeking

the Lord and be fully surrendered to obeying His voice.

And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me

alone, for I always do those things that please Him. John

    8:29

Jesus modeled the royal New Testament priesthood and alwaysobeyed His Father. Jesus was a faithful High Priest

on earth. He fulfilled His destiny by always doing those thingsthat glorified and honored His Father. His perfect work on thecross made it possible for the Holy Spirit to dwell in believersand enable us to fulfill the desires of the Fathers heart.

    9 I Peter 2:9

    15/123

Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear

Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be

well with them and with their children forever!

    Deuteronomy 5:29

Gods heart yearns that all of us would walk as Jesus walked, inperfect obedience, doing the things pleasing in His sight. Godis perfect in His creation of each of His children. He knowswhat is absolutely the best for you and me. It is essential thatwe develop a heart of loyal obedience to God and fulfill ourdestiny which includes intercession.

    Prophetic Intercessors Wanted

So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall,

and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I

should not destroy it; but I found no one. Ezekiel 22:30,31

Our Father is looking for intercessors who will wait upon theHoly Spirit to show them what to pray and will consistentlybuild a wall of intercession by praying and prophesying thosethings. The Holy Spirit empowers a wide

variety of intercession that is a central part of the Tabernacle ofDavid10.

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the

whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those

whose heart is loyal to Him. II Chronicles 16:9

    10 Romans 8:26

    15

  • 7/27/2019 Restoring the Tabernacle of David

    16/123

God is looking throughout the earth for believers whose heartsare tuned to listen and obey His voice. He will do mightyexploits on behalf of those loyal ones who follow His leading. In order to become a part of Gods restoration movement, we

must devote ourselves to prayer (including praise and worship)and the ministry of His word11. As we do we can experience thecontinual transformation of our hearts.

    Expect New Things

Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things

of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall springforth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the

wilderness and rivers in the desert.

    Isaiah 43:18

God is infinitely creative and moves in new forms during newseasons. Music is always flowing in creativity in various ways.

I have been involved in praise and worship for nearly fourdecades now. God is taking us deeper into

His infinite presence through ever increasing displays ofprophetic praise and worship.

I can remember when 45 minutes was considered a longworship time. In recent years, we have participated in worshiptimes lasting three to five hours long. The Spirit was willing totake us in deeper and longer but our bodies needed to rest. Many of our worship times are so full and amazing that it isimpossible to know and explain what God did in our midst.

    11 Acts 6:4

    16

  • 7/27/2019 Restoring the Tabernacle of David

    17/123

Davidic worship is experiential. It is about encountering theliving God, tasting and seeing that He is good12. God graces meto experience waves of His love and joy during worship. I oftenstart laughing with great joy in the midst of a song that I am

leading. It is extremely emotional to encounter the living Godin this way. He refreshes us and encourages us by Hiswonderful presence!

    Living in Two Realms

No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from

heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. John3:13,14

Jesus modeled the life we are called to live. He lived in tworealms at the same time. His interaction with the Father and theearth was seamless. He lived out of a place in heaven while onearth. In His prayer times, Jesus ascended into the Fathers

glorious presence and experienced revelation for

His will. As His holy body kneeled on earth, His spirit roseand walked in heavenly places. As Jesus walked in HisFathers good pleasure on earth, He maintained a perfectfellowship with the Father and understood His position andcalling.

We are called to walk as Jesus walked, living in two realmssimultaneously. There is a balance that each of us mustdiscover by the leading of the Holy Spirit. After living mostlyearthbound for our first twenty years of ministry, the Spiritbegan teaching us how to soar in praise and worship and seeand hear in the spiritual realm.

    12 Psalm 34:8

    17

  • 7/27/2019 Restoring the Tabernacle of David

    18/123

As we continued to develop in our understanding of trueworship and our royal priesthood, the Lord has graced us toexperience more and more revelation and visions of His glory. When we behold Him through face to face worship and prayer,

we are transformed to become like Him13.

The Grieved Heart of Our Father

And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the

earth, and He was grieved in His heart. Genesis 6:5

Gods heart is grieved by rebellion and sinfulness. God knewwhen He created Lucifer with a free will that he would turnfrom joyful submission to wicked rebellion. God knew it wouldgrieve His own heart, nevertheless, He went forward with Hisplan so that in time God could

demonstrate His great grace and love in Christ Jesus to redeemfallen man.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets

and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to

gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood

under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house

is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall

not see Me until the time comes when you say, Blessed is He

who comes in the name of the LORD! Luke 13:34,35

Jesus grieved and wept over His people in Israel at its capital,Jerusalem. It wounded His heart that so many that He maderefused to come to Him and experience His protection and

provision. The Fathers heart aches for His children whowander from Him.

Oh, that My people would listen to Me, that Israel would

walk in My ways! Psalm 81:13

God is not willing that any perish14. All created spiritual beingsare given a choice as to whom they will serve. Gods heartdesire is that all would repent and follow His voice, walking inHis ways. Gods ways are so much higher and better than ourways. We dont understand much about His created order or

His ways. What has been revealed to us in His word is absolutetruth. God is our Creator and our Judge. We are all called torespond to Him in faith and obedience. He is speaking throughHis creation, our

conscience, the Holy Spirit and the word of God all the time.We must tune our hearts to hear Him and obey His voice to

please Him in all things. This lifestyle of righteous livingministers comfort and joy to the heart of our Father.

The Father Longs for the Prodigals to Come Home

And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a

great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and

ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to

him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your

sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.

But the father said to his servants, Bring out the best robe

and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on

his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us

eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive

    14 II Peter 3:9

    20/123

again; he was lost and is found. And they began to be

    merry. Luke 15:20-24

God is watching over all of his children with deep emotion. He

wants them to be awakened and come home to Him. The goodshepherd leaves the ninety-nine to find the wandering one15. Allof heaven rejoices when only one sinner repents and comeshome to God. They know how much it means to the Father.Gods heart is wounded with the pain of loss. It is hard for us tocomprehend this, but David caught this truth. That is whyDavid was militant about building an altar of worship and

    ministering unto the

heart of God. Davids prayer, praise and worship was a sweetfragrance and comfort to God.

Even though our Father is complete in everyway, He allowsHimself, by love, to become vulnerable to His children. Most

parents understand the heartache when a child chooses to runaway from faith and obedience. There is no greater joy thanwhen our children walk in truth16. There is also no greater griefthan when our children wander into self-destructive sinfulliving. It grieves our hearts which are made in the image ofGod. Our heavenly Father is amazingly emotional and sensitiveto share the joys and pains of His children. He loves us allunconditionally and makes provision for us all to havefellowship with Him. It is our choice each day whom we shallserve. Choose life and serve the Father!

    The Bridegroom Heart of God

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the

church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and

    15 Matthew 18:12; Luke 15:416 III John 4

    20

    21/123

cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He

might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having

spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be

holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their

own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loveshimself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes

and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.

    Ephesians 5:25-30

God dearly loves and cherishes His people. He sent His Son to

demonstrate that perfect love and lay down His life for us. Godis the perfect romantic. His passionate bridegroom love is thegreatest of all time. He has created mankind in His image.

Gods love often radiates in marriages among people who donot choose to follow Him. He has created humans with thecapacity to love and lay down our lives for others. We are

called to love within the bounds of Gods word.

One individual we know recently chose to divorce his wife offour decades and run after another simply because he fell inlove with another woman. The divorce tore the family apartand further wounded our Fathers heart. Imagine the pain andsuffering our Father experiences by the millions of abortions, divorces and sinful acts of His children!

Therefore the LORD will wait, that He may be gracious to

you; and therefore He will be exalted, that He may have

mercy on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed

are all those who wait for Him. Isaiah 30:18

God is a God of justice and for those who persistently refuse to

obey Him, He ultimately allows them to choose their own wayand with it comes Gods judgment. God is slow to anger and

    21

  • 7/27/2019 Restoring the Tabernacle of David

    22/123

even slower to judge17. He waits a lifetime for many to respondto His perfect love. He longs to be gracious to His people anddemonstrate His mercy.

My dear mother believed in God but did not choose to activelyserve Him during most of her life. Even though I tried severaltimes in her last years to share Gods word with her, she wasnot open to hearing about His love in Christs finished work inthe bible. We prayed intensely for her for over thirty years.God promised me that He would save her and required me totrust in His word that He spoke clearly to me in a manifest

presence God encounter that I had in 198118

    .

At the end of moms life, God gave me several visions of Hisgreat grace and mercy. I saw Jesus come to her in the Spiritbefore she died and offer her His hand of mercy. She took itand went into His perfect embrace. He is extraordinarilygracious. During a prophetic worship service, I went into a

deep vision where I was holding my mothers body in aglorious river of perfect peace. I knew that I had to let her gointo Gods hands. I released her in the Spirit and she floatedaway into His presence. Although I was over 3,000 miles awayfrom Mom when she died, I was graced by God to release herinto His marvelous presence.

God waits to be gracious to His people. He was gracious to meto give me perfect peace about Moms salvation. I experiencedthe comfort of the Holy Spirit in an extraordinarily deep way.God enabled me to minister His comfort to family and friends atthe memorial service.

    CHAPTER 2

THE ORIGIN AND FALL OF WORSHIP

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

    Genesis 1:1

We know that God created all things in the spiritual and naturalrealms. God is infinitely creative with infinite power. Hiscreative acts are always in agreement with His holy character,

foreknowledge and infinite wisdom. God knows exactly whoHe is and what He is doing. He sees the beginning and the endof all things.

Gods ways are higher than our ways and some of them are pastfinding out19. What God reveals in His word by His Spirit is allthat we need to fulfill our destiny on earth. We know that God

created angelic beings with various functions. We know thatMichael is the highest level warrior angel known as an archangel. Gabriel is the highest level messenger angel that weknow of and is probably an arch angel as well.

It is believed that Lucifer was created at the arch angel level asthe leader of worship in heaven. Every angelic being created

and all the various hosts of heaven, such as the four livingcreatures, were created and placed in positions perfectly by theirCreator, our heavenly Father.

God in His wisdom, perfection and goodness, gave each beinggifts and an assignment to use those gifts to glorify and honor

    19 Isaiah 55:9

    24

    25/123

their Creator. Their charge was to be faithful to their callingand assignment given them by their perfect loving Creator.

God also created these beings with free will. Apparently, there

was only one season where these created angelic beings couldchose once and for all whom they would serve. Once theymade their choice, perhaps due to the extreme level ofrevelation they had, there was no second choice offered.

We can thank God that in His mercy He gives mankind multiplechoices during a lifetime and contends with man to turn their

hearts to Him before they die. Isaiah prophesied aboutLucifers fall from Gods high mountain.

    The Fall of Worship

Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and

say to him, Thus says the Lord GOD: You were the seal of

perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You werein Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your

covering: the sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and

jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The

workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for

you on the day you were created.

You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established

    you; you were on the holy mountain of God;

you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You

were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,

till iniquity was found in you. By the abundance of your

trading you became filled with violence within, and you

sinned; therefore I cast you as a profane thing out of the

mountain of God; and I destroyed you, O covering cherub,

from the midst of the fiery stones. Your heart was lifted up

    25

    26/123

because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the

sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you

before kings, that they might gaze at you.

You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of youriniquities, by the iniquity of your trading; therefore I

brought fire from your midst; it devoured you, and I turned

you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you.

    All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you;

you have become a horror, and shall be no more forever.

    Ezekiel 28:12-19

Satan was once the most magnificent creation of God in heaven. He was the most perfect and beautiful angel ever created, full ofwisdom and covered in gemstones. His amazing frameincluded timbrels and pipes to lead the greatest worship teamever assembled.

Satan was established in the highest place of leadership on themountain of God. He was the covering cherub responsible tocover God with continuous glory through praise and worship.Satan was the perfect worship leader of heaven with all the giftsand attributes to fulfill his incredibly high calling.

With his gifts and the anointing of God, Satan led millions uponmillions to worship the Lord in perfect beauty, splendor andunity. The glory created by the praise radiated light andmajesty in such extreme proportions that God was immersed inand covered by the splendor and beauty.

At some point, from the highest and greatest privilege of anycreated being, Satans heart began to be discontent. He wassecond only to the holy trinity and he wanted more. He started

to make deals with multitudes of angels of various ranks that

    26

served under his leadership. Satans motivation is revealed byIsaiahs prophecy below.

I Will Exalt My Throne Above Gods

How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the

morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who

weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: I

will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the

stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation

on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the

heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High. Yet youshall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the

    Pit. Isaiah 14:12-15

Satan wanted to establish his rule above Gods. He becamejealous of the praise and worship that he was leading towardshis Creator. Satan wanted to reign, rule and receive the glory.

His perverted lust twisted his gifted mind and he became ahorrible being of unthinkable wickedness.

His treachery knows no bounds. He knew that he had to have alarge following to usurp the throne of God and establish himselfabove the Most High. His own mind became deceived by greedand lust. Multitudes of angels followed Satan in His rebellion.

And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but

left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains

under darkness for the judgment of the great day. Jude 6

His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them

    to the earth. Revelation 12:4

The Scripture indicates that Satan took one third of the angels ofheaven and brought them to earth in His wicked rebellion.

    27

  • 7/27/2019 Restoring the Tabernacle of David

    28/123

Imagine for a moment the trauma this rebellion caused inheaven. How many millions of angels fell with Satan? Did hetake the entire worship team with him?

And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels foughtwith the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but

they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in

heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that

serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the

whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were

cast out with him. Revelation 12:7-9

Satan and his angels have been cast out of Gods heavenlypresence. They are confined to the earth realm unless allowedby God to come into His presence. All of Satans followers areworking towards one goal on earth. Their goal is to build athrone on earth for Satan to be worshipped.

So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to thebeast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like

the beast? Who is able to make war with him? And he was

given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and

he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.

Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to

blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in

heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints

and to overcome them. And authority was given him over

every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth

will worship him, whose names have not been written in the

Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the

    world. Revelation 13:4-8

Eventually, all who dwell on the earth will worship him

except those whose names are written in the Lambs book of

life. This frightening reality will likely occur within the nextforty years. We need to get ready!

Satans Tempts Us To Worship Him

Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high

mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world

and their glory. And he said to Him, All these things I will

give You if You will fall down and worship me. Matthew

    4:8-9

Satan tempts all mankind to worship him. He tempted Jesus bypromising Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.Jesus refused to worship Satan and resisted him by quotingGods word, Away with you, Satan! For it is

written, You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him

only you shall serve (Matthew 4:10).

All humans are spiritual beings equipped to render worth tosomeone or something. All people on earth worship either theCreator God or some counterfeit god known as an idol. Withthe exception of children under the age of accountability, allhumans are judged based upon their lives and works on earth. Our daily lives reflect our priorities and reveal what weworship.

We are exhorted throughout the word of God to guard ourselvesfrom any form of idol worship20. Anything or any one whobecomes more important to us than loving and pleasing Godbecomes an idol in our life. The only way to be safe from idolworship is to love the Lord God with all your heart, mind, souland strength21.

Satan is a worship leader that is still gifted in leading millionsand even billions to worship idols. He deceives minds byleading them to focus on anything other than devotion to

Christ22. People are devoted to a never ending array ofreligions, philosophies, obsessions and things possible.Ultimately, there are only two groups of people. Those who goto heaven and those who go to hell forever. The bible describesthem as sheep and goats, wheat and tares, sons of Gods lightor sons of darkness.

Satan took the praise and worship knowledge he learned inheaven and has counterfeited it on earth to bring glory tohimself. I believe that Satan uses many false religions toworship fallen angelic beings. Hindus worship thousands ofgods that have names, personalities and characteristics. Thebible teaches us that Satan was full of iniquity in trading or

making deals. I believe he made deals with angels under himthat they would have rulership and receive worship through avariety of religions and cultic activity.

Satan is using multiple genres of demonic music andentertainment products to captivate a generation in America intoloving this world, lusting in the flesh, lusting with the eyes andboastful rebellious pride23. Satan uses hundreds of ways to leadpeople into idol worship and has spread his deep darkness overthe earth. In the midst of this darkness, God has promised torestore the Tabernacle of David to magnify the Light of Jesusand attract mankind to His perfect love and brilliance.

CHAPTER 3 THE HEART OF DAVID

And when He had removed him, He raised up for them

David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, Ihave found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own

heart, who will do all My will. Acts 13:22

King David was obsessed with knowing God. David wanted tounderstand the heart, emotions and intents of his Creator.David was committed to do whatever it took to know God and

obey His will. David was a zealous fanatic in pursuit ofrevelation of God.

Davids predecessor, King Saul, had compromise in his heartand would not fully obey God. As a result, he lost his kingship. As God is raising us up to be priests and kings before Him, wemust become like David and run from Saul.

    Davids Vow

LORD, remember David and all his afflictions; how he

swore to the LORD, and vowed to the Mighty one of Jacob:

Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house, or go up

to the comfort of my bed; I will not give sleep to my eyes or

slumber to my eyelids, until I find a place for the LORD, adwelling place for the Mighty one of Jacob. Psalm 132:1-5

David had an incredible relationship with God. He understoodthe grace God allowed so that he could press in through fastingsleep to gain revelation. David wanted to know how to create adwelling place on earth so that Gods

    31

presence could come. David understood the heart of the Father.God wanted to be in close fellowship with His children, butGods holiness and mans sin created a separation.

Gods temporary solution under the Law of Moses was to createa system of sacrifice in the tabernacle of Moses to allowmankind to come a step closer. But David wanted so muchmore. His heart burned in passion to find a way to open thepathway for the whole nation to enter into fellowship andcommunion with a holy God.

David made a vow before Almighty God that he would take nopersonal comfort until he found a way to bring Gods manifestpresence to earth. Davids intense passion pressed in forrevelation and God gave it to him. When we seek and knock asDavid did, God will enable us to find Him and open the door ofrevelation. God began releasing visions and revelations toDavid so that He could build a tabernacle and make

preparations for Solomon to build a permanent temple

    24

    .

David said, I have seen the consummation of all perfection(Psalm 119:96a). David was given visions of throne roomworship. He saw the beauty and perfection of Gods throne andtemple worship on high. It fueled even greater passion as Davidcraved Gods manifest presence. Even as Moses built atabernacle based on what he saw on the mountain, Davidestablished his tabernacle of worship based on revelation by theSpirit of God25.

land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in

the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because

Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise

You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my

hands in Your name. My soul shall be satisfied as withmarrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise You with

joyful lips. When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on

You in the night watches. Because You have been my help,

therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My

soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me.

    Psalm 63:1-8

David was a busy man his entire life. He disciplined himself torise early to seek God. His thirst was intense and only satisfiedby entering Gods presence deeper and deeper. David had a giftof divine hunger. He was miserable outside of Gods presenceand will. He rose up early and stayed up late meditating onGods word.

David searched for God in the prescribed methods of his day.He longed to see Gods power and glory in the sanctuary. It isbiblical to seek manifestations of Gods power and glory in ourworship services! David constantly wanted more of Godstangible presence. The tabernacle of

Moses did not allow David access to the Holy of Holies. It wasrestricted to the High Priest from the tribe of Levi who couldonly enter one time per year. David wanted much

more than what Moses dictated under the law given by God. Heprayed and searched for a way to get closer to God.As a result of Davids extreme devotion and worship, Satans

kingdom was being shaken. The prayer, praise and worshiprealm does tremendous warfare in the heavenly realm to

displace darkness and loose angelic activity on our behalf. Those of us who know higher levels of intercession, praise andworship often experience tremendous spiritual warfare as Daviddid.

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be

afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my

flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Though

    an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear;

though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident.

One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: that

I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,

to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His

temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His

pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide

me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all

around me; therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His

tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.

Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also

upon me, and answer me. When You said, Seek My face,

my heart said to You, Your face,

LORD, I will seek. Do not hide Your face from me; do not

    turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help;

do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.

When my father and my mother forsake me, then the

LORD will take care of me.

Teach me Your way, O LORD, and lead me in a smooth

path, because of my enemies. Do not deliver me to the will of

my adversaries; for false witnesses have risen against me,

and such as breathe out violence. I would have lost heart,

unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the

LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; be of

good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, Isay, on the LORD! Psalm 27:1-14

David asked God to teach him a way to get into His tabernacleand the Lord allowed David to develop a place where he couldenter into Gods glorious presence. It is called the Tabernacleof David.

How lovely is Your tabernacle, O LORD of hosts! My soul

longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart

and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow

has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where

she may lay her young --even Your altars, O LORD of hosts,

my King and my God. Blessed

are those who dwell in Your house; they will still be praising

    You. Selah

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is

set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca,

they make it a spring; the rain also covers it with pools.

They go from strength to strength; each one

appears before God in Zion. O LORD God of hosts, hear

my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah

O God, behold our shield, and look upon the face of Your

anointed. For a day in Your courts is better than a

thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of

my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the

and glory; no good thing will He withhold From those who

walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man who

    trusts in You! Psalm 84:1-12

Prophetic revelation flowed in the Tabernacle of David. Mostof the Psalms were written in Gods manifest presence withinthis historical tent. We can receive heavenly revelation andworship songs in a restored spiritual place such as this. Spiritled prophetic worship enters into Gods throne room. Thepathway into Gods presence is open to all believers by thefinished work of Christ. As we enter deeply into His presence

we can experience a phenomenal realm of creativity and lifewhere God pours out so much revelation that we can not containit. God has given me so much in this place that I cannot write itall out even after twenty-six books and scores of teachingpapers. There

appears to be an ever increasing and expanding realm of glory

for us to explore. We will need all eternity to begin to exploreHis heights and depths.

    Born in Zion

And of Zion it will be said, This one and that one were

born in her; and the Most High Himself shall establish

her. The LORD will record, when He registers the

peoples: This one was born there. Selah Psalm 87:5

David understood that not everyone was born into spirit filledpraise and worship fueled by intense passion. There are manymillions of wonderful Christians who will be in heaven with theLord who are not born in Zion either. They are not praisers and

    worshippers.

Just as the Levites were only one of twelve tribes in Israel thatdid the priestly duties, there is only a small percentage ofbelievers today who are true to their calling as priests whominister unto the Lord with prayers, fastings, praise and

    worship.

They have a great inheritance in God. Even as the Levites werethe stewards of the heavenly revelation in the Old Testament, the prophetic intercessors, worshippers and minstrels are thetribe responsible to fulfill their calling before God to build wallsof intercession and to do high praise.

These people are obsessed as David was to know and follow theways of God. They are always growing and learning andpressing in for more of Him. They can not function for longoutside of His presence. They are somewhat addicted to His

presence and long to walk in His grace and bring Him glory. They want to see Gods power and glory manifest just likeDavid did.

Both the singers and the players on instruments say, All

my springs are in you. Psalm 87:5-7

No other springs will satisfy those whom God uses to restorethe Tabernacle of David. They are extreme in their devotionand dedication to serving the Lord. They are the ones whocome to Jesus to drink deeply and as a result, rivers of livingwater spring forth from their inmost beings26.

The zeal of the Lord of hosts is available to those who will walkas Jesus, the son of David, walked. I pray that by Gods gracewe are among those who do. That zeal is like our Father, an all

consuming fire! Davids zeal was extreme in every way. Godrewarded him with the revelation and grace to build a specialworship center for 24/7 prophetic prayer, praise and worship.

David comprehended the Fathers heart for fellowship and

community among His children. The Father experienced greatloss at the fall of Satan and his angels. Even though God doesnot need mankind to be complete, He allows Himself to bevulnerable through compassion and perfect love. He createsbeings knowing that some will choose to rebel against Him andgrieve His heart. David understood this and determined torestore what was lost in heaven.

What a bold move by a passionate and violent man. David didsomething so radical and yet so profound that most of the bodyof Christ still does not understand what He did. In

the end times, the Church will get it and build an altar untoheaven of prayer, praise and worship. That altar will becomethe throne our Lord Jesus comes back to reign upon.

Meanwhile, Satan is seeking to build a throne on earth where heis worshipped. There are two kingdoms, two thrones. TheChrist and the Antichrist. The Kingdom of God (light) and theKingdom of Satan (darkness). Choose this day, beloved, whomyou will serve!

CHAPTER 4 THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID

So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring

up the ark of the LORD God of Israel. And the children ofthe Levites bore the ark of God on their shoulders, by its

poles, as Moses had commanded according to the word of

    the LORD.

Then David spoke to the leaders of the Levites to appoint

their brethren to be the singers accompanied by instruments

of music, stringed instruments, harps, and cymbals, byraising the voice with resounding joy. So the Levites

appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren,

Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of their brethren, the sons

of Merari, Ethan the son of Kushaiah; and with them their

brethren of the second rank: Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel,

Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah,

Mattithiah, Elipheleh, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, thegatekeepers; the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were to

sound the cymbals of bronze; Zechariah, Aziel,

Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah,

with strings according to Alamoth; Mattithiah, Elipheleh,

Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, to direct with

harps on the Sheminith; Chenaniah, leader of the Levites,

was instructor in charge of the music, because he wasskillful; Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the

ark; Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah,

Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, were to blow the trumpets

before the ark of God; and Obed-Edom and Jehiah,

    doorkeepers for the ark.

So David, the elders of Israel, and the captains over

thousands went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the

    39

LORD from the house of Obed-Edom with joy. And so it

was, when God helped the Levites who bore the ark of the

covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bulls and

seven rams. David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, as

were all the Levites who bore the ark, the singers, andChenaniah the music master with the singers. David also

wore a linen ephod. Thus all Israel brought up the ark of

the covenant of the LORD with shouting and with the sound

of the horn, with trumpets and with cymbals, making music

    with stringed instruments and harps.

And it happened, as the ark of the covenant of the LORDcame to the City of David, that Michal, Sauls daughter,

looked through a window and saw King David whirling and

playing music; and she despised him in her heart. I

    Chronicles 15:14-29

Davids intense passion empowered him to seek God for a way

to bring in Gods manifested presence. Davids initial zealwithout biblical knowledge caused the death of Uzza and thedelay of establishing this center27. How often do we fall intothis pattern with youthful zeal and impatience?

Gods revelation generally comes in pieces. We must gather thepieces of revelation and pray for correct interpretation andapplication. Everything must be examined in light of the wordof God. David failed to

consult the word of God. Even though they worshipped with alltheir might and their hearts were right, God commanded the arkto be carried by poles on the shoulders of sanctified priests.

David built a beautiful new cart to usher in the ark. How oftendo church leaders use a new program to try and bring in revivalto church. Gods ways are higher and much better than ourways. We have to do it Gods way in Gods time or it will

surely fail. David learned the hard way.

So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the

tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then they offered

burnt offerings and peace offerings before God. And when

David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the

peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the

LORD. Then he distributed to everyone of Israel, both manand woman, to everyone a loaf of bread, a piece of meat,

    and a cake of raisins.

And he appointed some of the Levites to minister before the

ark of the LORD, to commemorate, to thank, and to praise

the LORD God of Israel: Asaph the chief, and next to him

Zechariah, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah,Eliab, Benaiah, and Obed-Edom: Jeiel with stringed

instruments and harps, but Asaph made music with

cymbals; Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests regularly blew

the trumpets before the ark of the covenant of God. I

    Chronicles 16:1-6

Everyone gets blessed when we usher in Gods presence inGods way. David established 4,000 full-time paid

Asaph and his brethren, to thank the LORD: Oh, givethanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; make known His

    deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;

talk of all His wondrous works! Glory in His holy name; let

the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD! Seek the

LORD and His strength; seek His face evermore!

Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His

wonders, and the judgments of His mouth, O seed of IsraelHis servant, you children of Jacob, His chosen ones!

He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the

earth. Remember His covenant forever, the word which He

commanded, for a thousand generations, the covenant

which He made with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac, and

confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, to Israel for aneverlasting covenant, saying, To you I will give the land of

Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance,

when you were few in number, indeed very few, and

    strangers in it.

When they went from one nation to another, and from one

kingdom to another people, He permitted no man to do

them wrong; yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, saying,

Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no

    harm.

Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim the good news of

His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the

nations, His wonders among all peoples. For the LORD is

    42

    43/123

great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above

all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the

LORD made the heavens. Honor and majesty are before

Him; strength and gladness are in His place.

Give to the LORD, O families of the peoples, give to the

LORD glory and strength. Give to the LORD the glory due

His name; bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh,

worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble

before Him, all the earth. The world also is firmly

established, it shall not be moved.

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; and let

them say among the nations, The LORD reigns. Let the

sea roar, and all its fullness; let the field rejoice, and all that

is in it. Then the trees of the woods shall rejoice before the

LORD, for He is coming to judge the earth.

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy

endures forever. And say, Save us, O God of our

salvation; gather us together, and deliver us from the

Gentiles, to give thanks to Your holy name, to triumph in

Your praise. Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from

everlasting to everlasting! And all the people said, Amen!

and praised the LORD. I Chronicles 16:7-43

This is a glorious song that David wrote for the celebration ofbringing the ark into the new tabernacle. David was anextremely busy king, but his example challenges all of us todevote time and energy to creatively worship God. Davids

priorities model what kingship in the spirit is all about. At leastseventy-three of the Psalms are attributed to David and he

    43

    44/123

probably wrote hundreds of other prophetic songs that did notmake it into the bible31.

Davids son Solomon wrote 1,005 songs and we only have three

of those recorded in the bible32. Forty-four Psalms areanonymous and may have been written by David or Solomon. The Sons of Korah wrote seven Psalms, Asaph wrote twelvePsalms, Heman and Ethan wrote one each and Hezekiah wroteeleven Psalms33. As our God is making us to be priests andkings, we are challenged to become more

like David, write songs of the Spirit and participate in restoringheavenly worship on earth.

Gods Prophetic Promise about Davids Tabernacle

In mercy the throne will be established; and one will sit on it

in truth, in the tabernacle of David, judging and seekingjustice and hastening righteousness. Isaiah 16:5

God is going to judge all the nations of the earth upon Hissecond coming. Since God is merciful, He will have theprophetic worshippers rebuild the tabernacle and establishthrone room worship. The Lord Jesus will sit upon that throneinitially in the atmosphere over regions that worship Him. Hewill be judging and seeking justice for all of His children thathave been stolen from by the devil. His holy fiery presence will

hasten the completion of our righteousness by burning out allleft over issues34.

After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of

David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, and Iwill set it up; so that the rest of mankind may seek the

LORD, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name,

says the LORD who does all these things. Acts 15:16,17

Almighty God has promised to return and rebuild what Davidestablished over three thousand years ago. David pitched a tent

in a specific location and assigned priests to

praise and worship God twenty-four hours a day for seven daysa week continuously during his reign. The Tabernacle of Davidis a place established by God for continual prophetic prayer, praise and worship. That tabernacle

stopped functioning shortly after David died. It had seasonalrevivals, but was never sustained35.

God said that He would rebuild this tabernacle so that the restof mankind may seek the Lord. God is returning throughthe presence of the Holy Spirit and is now rebuilding thistabernacle. There are many houses of prayer being raised uparound the world where prophetic praise, worship and prayersare going up before God 24/7. It is a wonderful thing to be apart of this last day move of His Spirit.

34 See Isaiah 4 regarding the Spirit of burning35 Eight seasonal revivals included: Abijah II Chronicles 13:14,15; Asa IIChronicles 15:12-15; Jehoshaphat II Chronicles 20:18-22; Joash II

Jesus said, And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will

draw all peoples to Myself. John 12:32

Jesus died and rose from the dead and is now exalted on a

throne in heaven beside His Father. When we lift Jesus up fromthe earth, through prophetic praise and worship, He enthronesHis glorious light and presence upon those praises36. Jesus isthe light of this world. When we exalt and bless His name itmagnifies His light to shine in the

atmosphere over the region where we are living. We are to

worship Him in spirit and daily walk in His truth, obeying Hisword by living righteously in all ways.

As our praise and worship is built by the Spirit to high andperfected praise in powerful agreement with many saints, theintensity of His light increases in the region. As His lightincreases, the darkness of the region is displaced. Individuals

with darkness clouding their minds are suddenly awakened totheir need for God and start seeking Him. They may be drawnto talk to a friend who radiates Gods love or go to a churchwhere the love of God is shining brightly.

God wants to draw all nations, tribes and peoples to Himself inthis late hour. He has a plan to reap unprecedented last-dayharvest and it includes rebuilding the Tabernacle of David. Asprophetic prayer, praise and worship increases, He comes andestablishes Himself in the midst of that region. Where there islittle or no prophetic prayer, praise and worship, the enemy willfill that void with manifestations of His darkness.

Since God has given the stewardship of earth for some ages tomankind, and since He has exalted His word above all His

name, God always works within the boundaries of His wordestablished on earth37. Gods ways are revealed to those whointimately seek Him and discover the revelation of His word.Gods way to mass evangelism and harvest is to rebuild and

restore the Tabernacle of David through

willing vessels who will allow the Holy Spirit to teach themhow to worship in spirit and in truth. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true

worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for

the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and

    truth. John 4:23,24

God is seeking true worshippers who will provide NewTestament priestly ministry unto Him for His glory toaccomplish His purposes on earth. God is looking for

intercessors to stand in the gap and build a wall of prayer so Hecan bless a person or place and not have to judge38. God looksfor those whose hearts are loyal to Him and will walk inagreement with Him39.

    The Key of David

The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; so

he shall open, and no one shall shut; and he shall shut, and

no one shall open. Isaiah 22:22

no one opens: I know your works. See, I have set before you

an open door, and no one can

shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Revelation 3:7-9

Great authority was given to David to advance the Kingdom ofGod on earth. Davids model of prophetic praise, prayer andworship is a powerful key that will open the heavens to Godspower and glory and shut down Satans kingdom of darkness.

As we grow closer to God and learn His ways, He releasesgreater realms of His authority and power to steward andadvance His kingdom.

God gives the Davidic worshippers keys to His kingdom. Those keys are revelatory counsel from God that allow us towalk in His might. No matter what situation we are faced with

in life, there is a key to unlock kingdom resources to openheaven and shut out hell. We have to press into God by theleading of the Holy Spirit and pray, praise and worship until Hereveals the key for that situation.

We may be able to gain some levels of revelation andbreakthrough on our own, but God is requiring lovingcommunity and agreement to accomplish many things for Hisultimate glory and return to earth.

    End-Times Worshippers

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude

which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples,

and tongues, standing before the throne and before the

Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in

    48

    49/123

their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying,

Salvation belongs to our God who sits on

the throne, and to the Lamb! All the angels stood around

the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, andfell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

    saying:

Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and

honor and power and might, be to our God forever and

    ever. Amen.

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, Who are

these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come

from? And I said to him, Sir, you know.

So he said to me, These are the ones who come out of the

great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them

white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are beforethe throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His

temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among

them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst

anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the

Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them

and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will

wipe away every tear from their eyes. Revelation 7:9-17

It is undeniable that a great host of worshippers are on earthduring the great tribulation. God will deliver them out of thathorrific season where they experience tremendous sufferingincluding starvation, dehydration and sun scorching.

As a result of their faithfulness in restoring the Tabernacle ofDavid on earth, they are blessed to serve God day and night inHis temple forever. It is hard for us to comprehend

that the greatest privilege in heaven is to be on the massiveworship team that gets to stay in His magnificent presence closeto the throne.

We have so little understanding of His infinite majesty andbeauty that we think this eternal occupation could get a littleboring or old after a few millennia. However, Gods word

reveals that this is the highest blessing and the best occupationin heaven. Lucifer and his angels were given the highestpositions in heaven and were not content. We need to realizethe truth, that there is no greater occupation than to be called topray, praise and worship the Father as a full-time vocation.

Satan had the perfect dream job and in the midst of incredible

beauty and glory, he chose to rebel. A great number of theworship team of heaven fell with Satan and have been workingto establish their goal on earth to build Satans throne aboveGods.

It is ironic that as Satan finally establishes his throne of worshipdirected towards the Antichrist, a human fully possessed bySatan, God is establishing His throne through millions ofDavidic worshippers who will overcome him by the blood ofthe lamb, by anointed testimony and by laying their lives downin martyrdom40. Massive world-wide

persecution will only fuel a greater intercession with praise andworship for the King of Glory to come back to earth.

musicians and prophetic singers. The incredible spiritualwarfare, praise, worship and birthing intercession will restoreeverything that we have lost through the ages.

The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but thosethings which are revealed belong to us and to our children

forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

    Deuteronomy 29:29

Every gift, anointing, blessing, promise, mantle and revelationfrom God will be restored because they are legally ours. Satan

was allowed to steal many of them for a time and season but inthe justice of God, he must pay back everything sevenfold whenhe is caught. Davidic praise, prayer and prophetic worship doesthe kind of intercessory work to bring a warfare to the enemyskingdom. We will take back everything Satan has stolen fromall generations before Jesus returns.

The Dry Bones Come to Life

The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out

in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of

the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He

caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there

were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were

very dry. And He said to me, Son of man, can these bones

live? So I answered, O Lord GOD, You know.

Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones, and say to

them, O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! Thus says

the Lord GOD to these bones: Surely I will cause breath to

enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you

and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put

breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I

    am the LORD.

So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied,

there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bonescame together, bone to bone. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews

and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them

over; but there was no breath in them. Also He said to me,

Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to

the breath, Thus says the Lord GOD: Come from the four

winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may

live. So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breathcame into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an

    exceedingly great army.

Then He said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole

house of Israel. They indeed say, Our bones are dry, our

hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off! Therefore

prophesy and say to them, Thus says the

Lord GOD: Behold, O My people, I will open your graves

and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you

into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the

LORD, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and

brought you up from your graves. I will put My Spirit in

you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own

land. Then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it

and performed it, says the LORD. Ezekiel 37:1-14

In the natural realm, this prophecy is being fulfilled in thenation of Israel as God has brought that nation back to its landin the last 70 years. In the spiritual realm, the sons of God

through faith in Christ Jesus are maturing and rising up to

God is raising up a spiritual army as well to take their position

shoulder to shoulder. They will become a devastating army ofunity to advance Gods end-time plans against the enemy. Theywill be musicians, singers, dancers, intercessors, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, priests and kingsflowing in resurrection life and power42.

Gods breath will revive all the dead bones (anointings and

moves of the Spirit) through the spirit and power of Elijah whowill pray them back into restoration. Intercessors will pray theprayers the Holy Spirit gives them so God will do exactly whatHe said that He would do. It is an amazing time to be alive!

CHAPTER 5 PROPHETIC PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of

God, and who it is who says to you, Give Me a drink, youwould have asked Him, and He would have given you living

water. The woman said to Him, Sir, You have nothing to

draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that

living water? Are You greater than our father Jacob, who

gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his

    sons and his livestock?

Jesus answered and said to her, Whoever drinks of this

water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that

I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall

give him will become in him a fountain of water springing

up into everlasting life. John 4:10-14

An aspect of prophetic praise and worship is learning how todrink in the spirit realm. Drinking is to take in through thesenses, especially with eagerness and pleasure. Spiritualdrinking means to absorb, to involve the full attention of; toengross or engage wholly. We take in or assimilate good thingsin the spiritual realm through drinking in Jesus and meditatingon Him and His word.

As we minister unto the Lord with prayers, praise and worship,He unveils our minds and allows us to drink in deeperrevelation about His character. We can drink in revelation, knowledge, understanding, peace, joy, love and all kinds ofspiritual nourishment that satisfies our deepest desires.

On the contrary, we can drink evil things in the spiritual realmas well through carnal music and entertainment, fleshly thinking

(jealousy, rage, lust, worry, judgment, criticism and so forth)and various forms of religious activities including all sorts ofdemonic prayer and worship.

Jesus said to her, Woman, believe Me, the hour is comingwhen you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem,

    worship the Father. You worship what you do not know;

we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But

the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers

will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is

seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who

worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

The woman said to Him, I know that Messiah is coming

(who is called Christ). When He comes, He will tell us all

things. Jesus said to her, I who speak to you am He.

    John 4:21-26

Those who worship in spirit and in truth learn to drink in theliving water and the life of the Spirit of God. When we developthis incredible thirst for more of Him, we press in to know Himin various ways. As we are satisfied and filled by the HolySpirit over and over again, we tap into His rivers of living waterthat can flow through our inmost being and bring life to peoplethe Lord wants to touch through us.

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and

cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and

drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture

has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.

But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those

believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not

yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

There is great power in anointed preaching, teaching, testifying, prophetic song and various forms of prayer. When we releasethe rivers of His living water, the power and glory of God fills

    the atmosphere around us.

During a testimony by Tommy Tenny years ago in Dallas, weexperienced the heavy weighty glory of Gods magnificentpresence for over two hours. Nearly everyone in the room wasovercome by the Spirits manifest presence. Many fell out oftheir chairs under that power. It was astounding.

Later, the Lord told me that this was an example of the releaseof living waters. I asked the Lord if I could do this. Anyonewho gets saturated with the life flow of Jesus through drinkingHim and His glorious presence can release rivers of livingwater.

The next time I ministered at a meeting, I simply raised myhands and said, Lets just wait upon the Lord for a fewminutes. In my heart, I was asking the Lord to release rivers ofliving waters and within a few moments, the samemanifestations that I had seen in Dallas were released in ourmidst.

Gods Spirit also released many accurate prophetic words thathelped His people know Him and His will better. Years afterthis experience, as I have begun leading worship in variousplaces, we notice Gods river flows many times when I simplybegin to play a few notes on the keyboard. If we wait upon theLord and allow Him to come in any way that He desires, we

simply learn to flow with Him and He fills the room with Hisglorious presence.

Once, a strong comment was made that I did too many songsthat people did not know and that I should have familiar songsso people could enter into the worship. It seemed like a

reasonable request, but I also felt a spirit of fear and manscontrol trying to take over. There are several times where Ihave a song from my notebook with chords and I attempt toplay it. However, my hands start playing something completelydifferent and I have been quite shocked. On this occasion, theLord had me do only spontaneous prophetic music and song forover an hour and His Spirit fell powerfully.

The person who made the comment afterwards admitted thecomment was from the natural mind and this person gavethanks for the incredible anointing on the prophetic song. Itwas a breakthrough meeting and this same person entered intoextraordinary visions of God. It is amazing what God does inprophetic music ministry!

In the Tabernacle of David, God releases the spirit of wisdomand revelation in the knowledge of Him (Christ), the eyes of

your understanding being enlightened; that you may know

what is the hope of His calling, what are

the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and

what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who

believe, according to the working of His mighty power

which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the

dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly

places, far above all principality and power and might and

dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this

age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things

under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to

the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills

    all in all (Ephesians 1:17-23).

    Seed the Heavens

And I have put My words in your mouth; I have covered

you with the shadow of My hand, that I may plant theheavens, lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion,

You are My people. Isaiah 51:16

God gives His anointed ones words to pray, sing and decree. He covers us with His anointed hand so that we will have theunction to pray and seed the heavens with His prophetic

promises. He can then bring them to earth through continuedintercession.

Once Glenda and I were taking part in an extended 24 hour 7day per week prayer meeting. During our time of prayer, I sawa native American angel dressed in full regalia dancing in anelliptical orbit around our altar. He was playing a drum and

moving in a heavenly rhythm. Since we only seek to do whatour Father is doing and revealing, I picked up a little drum andbegan shadowing the angels movements.

Suddenly Gods power came upon me and I heard the followingscripture:

I will make them and the places all around My hill a

blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their

season; there shall be showers of blessing.

    Ezekiel 34:26,27

Glenda looked up the verse and we began to sing it andcontinued to do the little dance at the altar and play themonotone native drum beat. I realized that I was doing a Holy

Spirit rain dance and we were agreeing with God to plant the

    59

heavens with prophetic words so that He could pour out Hisblessings upon us.

A few weeks later, while I was playing African drums

(djembes) during our worship service, several people got upand began to do a little dance in the same fashion the Spirit hadled us to do. After a while, similar prophetic words came forthand I confirmed those by sharing our experience and thescripture quoted above. Gods Spirit may have thousands ofintercessors around the globe doing similar prophetic things toseed the heavens and bring His prophetic words to earth like

    rain.

As we have traveled and met believers of like mind, wediscover that we are often being told to do similar actions, songs, dances, prayers and so forth. God knows exactly whatHe wants to accomplish and who He can use to accomplish it.Our job is to be fully surrendered and available to be used by

God to accomplish all of His good pleasure.

    Behold His Glory

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the

glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same

image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

    II Corinthians 3:18

A key focus of the Tabernacle of David is to enter into Hispresence so that we can see and experience the glory of theLord. As we enter in deeply, He unveils our minds so that wecan behold Him.
