The International and local volunteer placement is anautonomous program that mainly supports all our activities and services both financially and human resource.

Our work is 100% voluntary, even rendered free of charge to clients, reason why we do invite international and local volunteers from all over the world to always fundraise for our programs and also offer services into the refugee communities.

Also local students from universities are enrolled in our programs to offer volunteer services to the refugee communi-ties.

The Future

REHORE is set to make an impact on the lives of refugees in and outside Uganda. Professionalism, Timely response, love and Satisfactory handling of Refugee matters/ problems will be the forte of REHORE. The training of staff members will ensure that every one at REHORE is constantly a ware of this/ her obligations towards the organization and the refugees. New changes, innovations and ideas in the sector will be embraced and localized to improve the quality of life for the refugees.It is ultimate goal of REHORE to be the African player in matter of Refugees on the continent and probably the whole world.

- Human rights awareness creation and advocacy with the main focus on refugee women and Children human Rights Protection- NGO and CBO data based of women and human rights organizations- Refugee recommendation and direct advocacy when need.

4. SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.Under this sector, of REHORE, we have got the refugee women Economic Empowerment project and this is carrier out through various activities ranging from skills develop-ment to Micro- Individual and project for development to work towards a reduction on gender based violence.

We do offer sewing/tailoring training services, computer training services, Art and Craft training, Music, dance and Drama. Business management training skills trough rotating small micro-credit money for business. This is done to enable self sustainability.

5. MOBILIZATION

This will be done through: information research, informa-tion documentation, information exchange through work-shops, meetings, conferences and seminars.

6. JOBS CREATION.

REHORE help refugees to use their talents and skills empower socially, economically, physically, intellectually so that they are not exploited by any one and be more produc-tive in the society.

7. SOCIAL ASSISTANCE.

REHORE provide the basic need to the vulnerable affected refuges women and children by providing the feeding, clothing’s and beddings and other social need which may arise.

8. VOLUNTEER PROGRAM.

REHORE runs then volunteer program where international and local volunteers are placed in all the REHORE programs and project with the following three objectives:- Income for auto-finance of the REHORE adminis-tration- Inter- change of technical expertise and skills- Seeking for children sponsorship opportunities.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUNDRestoration and Hope for Refugee is a Non Governmental, developmental and charity Organization formed in 2012 by a group of six people who had passion to restore and bring hope to the refugee community in Uganda.

Our being is to help women and children refugee to integrate in the community, and aspire for a better future.

Mission StatementRestoration and Hope for Refugee works to restore hope to refugee and to improve the quality of life by empowering them, reshape the society through its crosscutting programs targeting disadvantaged women and Children but as well working hand in hand with other partners. We are a people development organization that seeks to create a positive change in the refugee community by building their capaci-ties through leadership development, and community engagement to improve the livelihood conditions.

Vision REHORE vision is to help the refugee Community and displaced people affected by wars, famine, disease, igno-rance, violence, poverty or privates of human rights positively reshaped and restore.

Goal.Restoration and Hope for Refugee aims at working towards supporting the refugee women and children affected by wars, sexual violence, sexual exploitation and abuse, victim survived of torture and privates of human rights.

OUR PROGRAMS / ACTIVITIES1.EDUCATION* Adult Literacy EducationThis program covers the refugee adult literacy education for development focusing on teaching refugees English, French, Swahili, Germany and other local languages.

*Children Education We offer sponsorship for refugee children to help refugee join primary and secondary schools. We provide scholastic material for those children who comes from poor families, abandoned also we teach simple arithmetic, writing and reading for refugee children.

2. HEALTH PROGRAMThe health program of REHORE includes:

* HIV/ Aids.REHORE fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS, creating of awareness, Counseling, promotion of voluntary testing, giving recommendations as well as giving some support and provision towards the families victimized by HIV/Aids. Training for the affected and infected people in the commu-nity, giving counseling and guidance.

* Prevention against Malaria.Providing mosquito-net to vulnerable refugee families, the displaced people and conducting training sections to prevent malaria.

* Community workTo fight and prevent other diseases which may arise and affect the community. For a good sanitation to fight the danger that causes injections and other transmitted disease in the community.

* Other communicable diseasesREHORE is engage to fight and prevent other communi-cable diseases in the community.
