tourism hurts• Tourism grew by 7% in 2007• Then grew by 5% in the first half of 2008• Then slumped in the second half of 2008 • And the year ended on only 2% growth• 2009 (remember the H1N1 flu virus?) = a decline of

4.2% to 880 million international tourists arrivals – and a 5.7% decline in international tourism receipts
