MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Responsibilities

To prepare and execute Preventive Maintenance Activities including scheduled preventive maintenance checklist, planning and unplanned line stop schedule for all the process equipment and associated utilities in plant.

Document and execute all problem records on daily operations.

Request and propose alternative solution on Repair and Maintenance, spare-parts and 3rd party maintenance needed requisition by Engineers to smoothen maintenance activities.

Attend machine breakdown and troubleshoot the root cause of the breakdown and propose the proper solution to shorten the breakdown duration.

Requirements Possess Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Material Engineering. Minimum 2 years of working experience in heavy industries performing maintenance of manufacturing

plant are added advantage. Self-motivated, achievement oriented, able to work under minimum supervision and leading a team of

technicians to carry out plant maintenance. Good interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak in Mandarin and local Chinese dialects will be an added advantage. Must be willing to hands-on and work in steel manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

YKGI Holdings Berhad

Main Objectives: Supervise the maintenance / repairing and preventive maintenance job for process equipment associated utilities equipment in plant.

Main Responsibilities:-

Supervise subordinates in the day-to-day running of daily work tasks. Schedule and organise assignments and tasks to respective subordinates and ensure tasks

assigned are completed on-time and on-target. Daily cross-check all machinery and equipment to ensure smooth running of production line. Ensure relevant work tasks assigned to subordinates are completed within the time frame and as

per instruction. Consistently monitor quality of incoming raw materials and finished products from QC inspection

result to ensure quality products/service at all times. Develop and recommends improvement of facilities, system and standard operating procedure to

improve product quality, safety and efficiency. Oversees and conduct On-the-Job training for new and existing employees to upgrade skills and

competency level. Ensure proper housekeeping is carried out at workplace. Ensure safety and health procedures are complied with at all times.

Requirements

Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent). Self-motivated, achievement oriented, able to work under minimum supervision and leading a
