Introduction

The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now

save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh,

but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by

the resurrection of Jesus Christ:  (1Peter 3:21).

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he

that believeth not shall be damned.  (Mark 16:16).

  John 3:1-6 Baptism is not an option. Acts 2:38 And the answer is … repent and be

baptized. Mark 16:16 “He that believeth and is baptized

shall be saved.”

 The Scriptural mode of water baptism is by

immersion: Acts 8 “Here is water,” John 3:23 “there was much water there.”

for the remission of sins.

for the washing away of sins.

part of the “New Birth” experience.for washing and cleansing of the conscience.a burial.taking upon ourselves the name of Jesus.

 When Should I Be Baptized?

 Immediately, upon repenting of your sins, you

should be baptized in water… in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Jesus commanded his disciples to “baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19).

Neither Father, Son, or Holy Ghost are names. These are descriptive title and roles of the one God.
