RESOURCELEVELING
Introduction
Resourcelevelingisatechniqueinprojectmanagementthatoverlooksresourceallocationandresolvespossibleconflictarisingfromoverallocation.Whenprojectmanagersundertakeaproject,theyneedtoplantheirresourcesaccordingly.
Thiswillbenefittheorganizationwithouthavingtofaceconflictsandnotbeingabletodeliverontime.Resourcelevelingisconsideredoneofthekeyelementstoresourcemanagementintheorganization.
Anorganizationstartstofaceproblemsifresourcesarenotallocatedproperlyi.e.,someresourcemaybeoverallocatedwhilstotherswillbeunderallocated.Bothwillbringaboutafinancialrisktotheorganization.
