Dato' Seri Ajib has more than 46 years of extensive international experience and expertise in the mineral resource industry, and in particular has madesignificant contribution to the dynamicsof the g lobal t in industry. He holds the professional qualification of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom. He is the President of the Malaysian Chamber of Mines (since 2003) and Chairman of the ASEAN Federation of Mining Associations (since 2016). He is also the Chairman of the Malaysian Tin Industry (R&D) Board and The Kuala Lumpur Tin Market. He is an independent director of the International Tin Association (formerly ITRI Ltd, UK) (since 1994) and had served two terms as the President of the

organisation. He is currently an External Consultant to the world’s largest tin mining and smelting group, Yunnan Tin Company Limited of China. He was a past member of the Tin Committee of the London Metal Exchange. From 1994 to 2013, he was the Group CEO and Executive Director of Malaysia Smelting Corporation Bhd (MSC), one of the world's leading integrated producers of tin based products and a global leader in custom tin smelting. He was also a director of Rahman Hydraulic Tin Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s largest operating open-pit hard rock tin mine from 1994 to 2016. In his early years, he spent more than 23 years in senior positions in finance, international marketing and business development in Malaysia Mining Corporation Bhd (now MMC Corporation Bhd). He had also served as Chairman of the Malaysian Futures Cleaning Corporation and Deputy Chairman of the Kuala Lumpur Commodity Exchange (1988 to 1993).

Dato' Yunus is a Registered Professional Geologist and Chairman of the Board of Geologists (BoG). He is also a Fellow of Institute of Geology Malaysia (IGM) as well as Geological Society Malaysia, formerly serving as Chairman for both. He was formerly the longest-serving Director-General of the Department of Mineral and Geoscience (JMG), and hadserved on Tin Industry (R&D) Board,

National Mineral Council, National Land Council, National Water Resources Council and National Geoheritage Committee, and was Chairman of the Malaysian National Committee for International Geoscience Programme for 10 years. He was Malaysia's permanent representative to the Coordinating Committee for Geoscience Programme in East and Southeast Asia, previously serving as its Chairman and also headed various international delegations.

Hj Muhamad Nor Muhamad is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), UK, and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries, Malaysia (MAICSA). He is currently Executive Director of the Malaysian Chamber of Mines, a position he has held since 1975. He is concurrently Secretary of the Tin Industry (R&D) Board, Company Secretary of The Kuala Lumpur Tin Market (KLTM) and Secretary General of the ASEAN Federation of Mining Associations (AFMA). In the early 1980s,

he was seconded to serve for four years as Director of the Malaysian Tin Bureau in Washington DC, USA, which was then the world's largest tin producer, to monitor actions and activities affecting tin that were taking place in the USA, which then was the world's largest tin consumer and holding a substantial amount of tin in its strategic stockpile. He has been actively engaged in promoting domestic, regional and international mineral Industry development, and has acted as Industry Advisor to the Malaysian government delegation on numerous occasions and at international forums and meetings on matters related to minerals.

Teoh Lay Hock is a Registered Professional Geologist specialising in mineral resourcedevelopment and mineral economics. Hehas a B.Sc (Hons) degree in geology and geochemistry from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and a Masters in mineral exploration from Imperial College,University of London, UK. He also holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland. Upon graduation, he worked for 24 years with the Geological Survey of Malaysia (now merged with the Mines Department to form the Minerals and Geoscience Department) before joining the private sector. There, he specialised in mineralexploration, mineral economics and

commodity research as well as mineral resourcedevelopment. In the subsequent 17 years in theprivate sector, Teoh was involved in mining, mineralexploration, mineral trading and mineral-based manufacturing. He retired from full time employment in 2008 as Executive Director of Nihon Superior (M) Sdn Bhd, one of the world’s leadingsolder manufacturers. Currently, he serves as a Technical Consultant for the Malaysian Chamber of Mines and the Tin Industry (R&D) Board. As a freelance consultant, he has also undertaken and completed projects for The Kuala Lumpur TinMarket, Academy of Sciences Malaysia and Ministryof Natural Resources and Environment, as well asseveral private sector mineral exploration and mining companies.

Seet Chin Peng has 42 years of experience in mineral exploration, groundwater and mineral database. He is a Registered Professional Geologist, and now sits on the Board of Geologists Malaysia and is also a Fellow of the Institute of Geology Malaysia, previously serving as its Secretary and Vice-President. His first 30 years of working was with the government of Malaysia in the Minerals and Geoscience Department where he headed various mineral, groundwater and mineral database projects before retiring as the D i rec to r o f M ine ra l I n fo rmat i on Management. His accomplishments

during his time there include the geological mapping of the Gunung Tahan area in Pahang, copper and gold exploration for the extension of the Mamut Mine in Sabah and the development of the GIS mineral database for the Minerals and Geoscience Department. Since his retirement from civil service, Seet has been working as a consultant to the government and private sectors on projects involving rare earths, industrial minerals and groundwater. He was previously the Supervising Hydrogeologist in a Sime Darby groundwater project in Perak and is currently a Consulting Hydrogeologist to two groundwater companies in Malaysia and a Consulting Geologist to a public listed company in

Kamarudin Abd Karim is a practising Mining Engineer and a member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia, Professional Engineer (in the discipline of mining) registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and Gas Engineer registered with the Energy Commission. He started his career with Associated Mines Sdn Bhd (AM), which was later absorbed into Pernas Charter Management Sdn Bhd (PCM). AM was the mine management arm of Charter Consolidated Ltd that provided mine management to five mining companies,which in the mid-1970s operated 12 dredges

and one opencast mine, whilst PCM was the mine management entity that managed Malaysia Mining Corporation Bhd's mining companies, which in the mid-1980s operated 21 dredges and one opencast mine. He served a total of 25 years with AM/PCM where he rose from supervisory positions to Mine Manager, Area Manager and finally General Manager of Mining Operations and Exploration. Kamarudin specialises in mine evaluation, mine planning, mining operation and mining-related environmental management as well as mining and mineral legislation. He is currently serving as Consultant to several mining and quarrying companies.

Kamerol is a trained engineer who has more than 26 years of experience in mining and gas industry. He was formerly with Pernas Charter Management, Gas Malaysia Sdn Bhd, PT Koba Tin and now General Manager of Magic Mirror Resource Consulting. During his tenor at PT Koba Tin, he holds Pengawas Operasional Utama certificate which qualifies him to manage mining operations in Indonesia and during his tenor at Gas Malaysia he holds Gas Engineering Supervisor certificate which recognized him as a gas competent person.

He was formerly with Pacific Tin, Selangor and later as CEO of Malaysia Shipyard & Engineering Sdn Bhd, Managing Director of MMC Engineering Group Bhd, Director of Operation at PT Koba Tin and currently a Director of Magic M i r r o r Re s o u r c e C o n s u l t i n g S d n B h d .

Yip Foo Weng Consulting Geologist

Yip Foo Weng is a Registered Professional Geologist and also a Chartered Engineer. He is a member of Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) and a council member and chairman of Mineral Resources Committee of Institute of Geology Malaysia. He started his career with Anglo-Oriental Sdn Bhd, and later as Head of Geology and Exploration Department with Pernas Charter Management Sdn Bhd and Chief Geologist with Taiko Bleaching Earth Sdn Bhd. Currently, he is an independent mineral resources consultant specialising in mineral exploration, evaluation, project appraisal and reporting.

Norhamidi is a Registered Professional Engineer (Mining), a member of IEM and a Council Member of Institute of Quarry Malaysia (IQM). He worked with Department of Mines Malaysia for 10 years before joining MMC Berhad. Currently, he is active as a Consulting Mining Engineer and has extensive experience in mining and quarrying. He also provides Controlled Blasting Services in Urban area for the construction industries.
