Awooden jetty fans out across the lagoon providing ac-

cess to the luxurious water bungalows. Large and richly

furnished, each bungalow has its own private sundeck

and steps down the shallow lagoon teeming with fish.

bungalow jetty, are the epitome of grand living. Twice

the size of the regular bungalows, they offer an aristo-

cratic level of living, with no effort spared to give that

witness traditional Maldivian life, aspects of which have

remained unchanged for hundreds of years. We take you

to the islands to experience the everyday lives of the

Dolphin trips are always a thrill. And everyone loves the

sunset fishing; especially when we barbecue the catch

for dinner. You can enjoy the evening and make new

friends over a glass of wine and red snapper.

If you haven’t dived before, now is the time to learn. If

you do dive you probably know that this area of South Ari

Atoll is one of the most renowned areas for diving in the

whole country. The Dhigurah Channel and the Kudarah

Protected Marine Area are world-class sites, within an

hour’s boat ride. Other highlights are the Manta Points

and the chance to see whale sharks on the outer atoll

sites. With double tank dives, night dives and safaris, as

well as twenty minute introductions at three metres, the

dive school is willing and prepared for everyone.

Experience Araamu Spa Each of the pavilions in the Araamu Spa has twin treat-

ment tables and several of the many massages on the

menu are especially designed for the romantic couple.

Set in a lush tropical environment of overflowing veg-

etation, frangipani and bougainvillea, amidst pools and

fountains, the spa is a very special retreat of calm and

tranquility at the heart of the resort. Sun Island offers

you sun, fun and activity; but we also know that time

alone, apart from the crowd, is vital to reflect, to revive

and to reinvigorate yourself. Here at the Araamu Spa we

the stars, a special menu, waiter service and the gentle

sound of lapping water on the shore? This is just one

way for a loving couple to get away and enjoy a long

evening together falling deeper in love. Our fine Italian

restaurant might be your preferred choice, or perhaps

the Japanese menu, Thai restaurant or the private dining

at the floating platform. The options are there, it’s all at

your pleasure.
