MAGAZiNES FOR THE PURCHASE OF VARiOUS NEWSPAPER FORDEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE

WHEREAS, there is an urgent need to purchase va「ious newspaper for

this Depa巾ment;

WHEREAS, the DOJ posted its lnvitation to Bid-Reques[ for Quotationfor the pu「Chase of va「ious newspaper for Department of Justice in the

PhilGEPS, DOJ Websjte, and conspicuous pIace in the DepartmentCOntinuousiy for fou「 (4) caiendar days and sen=o three (3) p「OSPeCtive

WHEREAS, the purchase of the aforementi印ed goods is inclilded in

the approved Annuai Procu「ement Pian (APP) for CY 2019;

WHEREAS, the resuit of the evaiuation by the ProcurementManagement Division shows that JJJ Newspapers & Magazines is considered

as the Lowest Calculated and Responsive Quotation (l_CRQ);

WHEREAS, COnSidering the amount invoIved in the subject

PrOCurement is ONE HUNDRED EiGHTY FOUR THOUSAND FOURHUNDRED SEVENTEEN PESOS AND 201100 〈P184,417.20), an altemative

mode of procurement is a=owed by GPRA, P「OVided, that the amount shall not

exceed the thresholds prescribed in Annex “H” of its implementing RuIes and

Reguiations;

NOW, THEREFORE, fo「 and in consideration of the foregoing, the Bids

and Award Commit[ee RESOLVES, aS it hereby RESOLVE, tO reCOmmend

the APPROVAL of the altemative mode of p「ocurement, and further

recommends the award of cont「act in the amount of ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY

FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTEEN PESOS AND　20IlOO

(P184,417。20) to JJJ Newspapers & Magazines.
