Chile / Disaster Recurrency (1960-2015)
That day was sunny,
Night came and we went to
sleep.
Suddenly it began a great
movement …
I quickly put my shoes
My emergency kit was ready
We arrived at the security
island... it was like a movie:
We watched the neighbors as
they walked with their flashlights,
In small groups..
We were prepared for the
earthquake
The fact that we had a drill the
week before… was blessed!
CALM DOWN, THINK AND ACT
FOR YOU'RE ALWAYS READY

The lessons learned should be incorporated into the development of
policies and regulations.
3. Economic and cultural development must build more resilient
communities and cities. People living safely, in safer cities.
4. International cooperation and exchange of experiences is a key for
the development of countries in Disaster Risk Reduction.
