    WATER HEATING

    All electric water heating equipment, including water storage and tankless water heaters (hotwater on demand), shall conform to specifications of the Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc. and theCompany. The installation of the water heating equipment shall conform to all National, State, andMunicipal Codes. No single electric water heating unit shall exceed 6 kW; and where two or moreheating units are used, these units shall be so interlocked that not more than 6 kW can be connected atany one time.

    Where electric water heaters not complying with these specifications are installed, the Customerwill be required to pay the original installation or upgrade costs for any nonstandard facilities needed tosupply the electrical capacity to meet the water heater demand. Water heating equipment must notimpair or interfere with service to any other customer.

    RESIDENTIAL SPACE HEATING

    All space heating equipment to be served by the Company's system shall be single phaseequipment approved by Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc., and the equipment and its installation shallconform to all National, State and Municipal Codes and to the following:

    Individual resistance-type units for space heating larger than 1,650 watts shall be designed tooperate at 240 or 208 volts, and no single unit shall be larger than 6 kW. Heating units of two kW orlarger shall be controlled by approved thermostatic devices. When a group of heating units, with a totalcapacity of more than 6 kW, is to be actuated by a single thermostat, the controlling switch shall be sodesigned that not more than 6 kW can be switched on or off at any one time. Supplemental resistance-type heaters, that may be used with a heat exchanger, shall comply with the specifications listed abovefor such units.

    SUMMER AND NON-SUMMER SEASONS

    The summer season begins on June 1 of each year and ends on August 31 of each year. Thenon-summer season begins on September 1 of each year and ends on May 31 of each year.

    The time periods are defined as follows. All times are stated in Mountain Time.

    Summer Season

    Peak: 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm. Monday through FridayOff-Peak: 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and all hours on weekends and

    holidays

    Non-summer SeasonPeak: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through FridayOff-Peak: 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday and all hours on weekends and

    holidays

    Holidays are New Year's Day (January 1), Memorial Day (last Monday in May), IndependenceDay (July 4), Labor Day (first Monday in September), Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November),and Christmas Day (December 25). If New Years Day, Independence Day , or Christmas Day falls onSaturday, the preceding Friday will be designated a holid ay. If New Years Day, Independence Day, orChristmas Day falls on Sunday, the following Monday will be designated a holiday.

    MONTHLY CHARGE

    The Monthly Charge is the sum of the following charges, and may also include charges as set

    forth in Schedule 54 (Fixed Cost Adjustment), Schedule 55 (Power Cost Adjustment), Schedule 91(Energy Efficiency Rider), Schedule 95 (Adjustment for Municipal Franchise Fees), and Schedule 98(Residential and Small Farm Energy Credit).
