OBJECTIVES• To assess the knowledge of Bsc nursing 1st year

students regarding hospital waste management. • To find out association of the knowledge of

Bsc nursing 1ST year students regarding hospital waste management with selected demographical variable such as age, class,& academic performance.

• To prepare the guidelines for students regarding hospital waste management

OPERATIONAL DEFINITION• ASSESS:- Statistical measurement of hospital waste

management based on data collection by self structured questionnaire among Bsc nursing 1ST year students.

• KNOWLEDGE:-It refers to Bsc nursing 1st year students range of information regarding hospital waste management as evident from their knowledge score.

• HOSPITAL WASTE MANAGEMENT :- It refers to any waste which is generated during diagnosis & treatment of human being, in research activities & in production & testing of biological.

OBJECTIVES• To assess the knowledge of 12th standard

students of selected government school regarding the causes & prevention of AIDS.• To assess the attitude of the 12th standard

students of selected government school regarding causes & prevention of AIDS.• To find out the association between

knowledge & attitude regarding the causes & prevention of AIDS.

OPERATIONAL DEFINITIONS• ASSESS:- statistical measurement of AIDS based on data

collection by self structured questionnaire among 12th standards students.

• KNOWLEDGE:-it refers to 12th standard students range of information regarding AIDS as evident from their knowledge score.

• ATTITUDE:-it refers to expression of students, feelings& behavior towards HIV/AIDS causes & prevention.

• HIV/AIDS:-The acquired immuno deficiency syndrome(sometime called slim disease) is newly described, usually fatal illness caused by rotavirus known as HIV which breaks down the body’s immune system.

An experimental study to assess the knowledge of lactating womens regarding postnatal exercises in selected rural area of rangeelpur, gurdaspur.

OBJECTIVES

• To assess the knowledge of lactating women's regarding the postnatal exercises in rural area of rangeelpur.• To find out the association between

the postnatal exercises & lactating women’s.• To prepare the guidelines for lactating

womens regarding postnatal exercises.

OPERATIONAL DEFINITION

• POSTNATAL PERIOD:-As a period from the delivery of placenta & membranes to return of women reproductive system to its non pregnant state .

• LACTATING WOMEN :-Lactating womens are those womens who provide milk to their babies for protection of baby & prevention of diseases.

• RURAL COMMUNITY:-It is area of rangeelpur where people live together in a small geographical area .

• POSTNATAL EXERCISES:- Those exercises which helps to return the reproductive organ of women to its non pregnant state.

• ASSESS:-Statistical measurement of personal hygiene based on data collection by self structured questionnaire among primary school students .

• KNOWLEDGE:-It is acquired the information regarding personal hygiene measures in terms of numerically .

• PERSONAL HYGIENE:-It is a condition of maintaining the cleanliness of all body parts.

• PRIMARY SCHOOL:- It includes the 5th standard to 8th standard school going children in government school of briar.

OBJECTIVES• To assess the knowledge of the pregnant women

of selected area of jaito sarja regarding breast feeding .

• To assess the attitude of the pregnant women’s of selected rural area of panj graian regarding Breast feeding .

• To find out the association of the knowledge among the pregnant womens of the selected rural area of panj graian with selected demographical variable such as age, class,& academic performance

• KNOWLEDGE:- :-it is acquired the information regarding breast feeding measures in terms of numerically

• ATTITUDE:- it refers to expression of students, feelings& behavior towards breast feeding.

• PREGNANT WOMEN:- those womens who having come under conceptual period of 9 month +- 7 days

• BREAST FEEDING:- It is a technique that is used for baby to provide proper growth & development also provision of antibodies to prevent infection .

• RURAL AREA: it is a jaito sarja area where people live together in a small geographical area.
