VECTOR GENETICS LAB 2014 Undergraduate Student Orientation Seminar The Vector Genetics Laboratory (VGL) deals with research and training in the areas of population & molecular genetics, genomics and bioinformatics of insect vectors of human and animal disease. We have developed a program aimed at expanding knowledge that may be applied to improving control of vectorborne diseases and that addresses problems of interest in the field of evolutionary genetics. We are recruiting Undergraduate Student Research Participants for 20142015 academic year. The orientation seminar provides an opportunity to learn about the research being conducted at the VGL, to hear about opportunities offered to participating students and to arrange an interview for admission into the VGL undergraduate research program.
