1 SusHK Hub The Sustainable Hong Kong Research Hub (SusHK Hub) was established by a multi-disciplinary research team based in City University of Hong Kong (CityU) in November 2016. It is an open platform for impactful applied research on real-life sustainability issues in Hong Kong and the region. SusHK Hub aims at facilitating synergies and collaborations among the academia, industry, professional services and business sectors, government and community in Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas. Priority themes include economic and social sustainability, in particular the development of Hong Kong professional services along the Belt-Road (B&R). Centre Director, Professor Linda Chelan Li, is also the convenor of SusHK Hub. SusHK Hub

The Sustainable Hong Kong Research Hub (SusHK Hub) was established by

a multi-disciplinary research team based in City University of Hong Kong

(CityU) in November 2016. It is an open platform for impactful applied research

on real-life sustainability issues in Hong Kong and the region.

SusHK Hub aims at facilitating synergies and collaborations among the academia,

industry, professional services and business sectors, government and community

in Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas. Priority themes include economic and

social sustainability, in particular the development of Hong Kong professional

services along the Belt-Road (B&R).

Centre Director, Professor Linda Chelan Li, is also the convenor of

“Hong Kong Professional Services in the Co-evolving Belt-Road Initiative: Innovative Agency for Sustainable Development” (Project No. S2016.A1.009.16S)

The reseach project is funded by the Strategic Public Policy Research Funding Scheme of the

Central Policy Unit, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Our Vision and Proposed B&R Initiatives for Hong Kong As one of the world’s leading financial capitals and amongst the top global cities, with its

distinctive advantage operating under the unique ‘one country, two systems’ framework and part

of China, Hong Kong has its edge to attract business around the globe and serve as a bridge

between the mainland and countries along the belt and road. The project plans to investigate
