We are using fonts of popular fast food restaurants and supermarkets for our

titles.

Instead of archival footage we have used archival photos.

Conventions Challenged

We are challenging the stereotype of a presenter, by having it be a black girl, not white and someone who is young instead of middle aged.

The voiceovers are viewed as the voice of God and are not mixed with the interviewees.

The interviewees will also be the voiceovers, therefore they will be taking part and also looking at it from an outside perspective.

Our 5 minutes.• Introduce series topic – food, what is

healthy and unhealthy. Whether healthy or unhealthy food is more popular today. Does areas condition diets e.g Harlesden has a lot of fast food and Notting hill has a lot of bistros.

• Here is where we will talk about the rise in fast food establishments across the country. Exploring the reasons why this happened. Pricing?

• In this time we will run a test. In this experiment we will try to find the reasons why fast food is becoming more popular by seeing what is more expensive and time consuming to cook healthy food or to go and get it

• Interview ‘Mr Tesco’ and speak to him to try and see if he can lower food prices to be competitive with fast food to make the country healthier.

• INTRO – review of past episode• Talk about organic food brief intro of it• Researching where our organic chicken comes from.• Then looking at where fast food chicken is produced.• Pricing of organic food, comparing it with normal food.• Family on a budget, why don’t they buy organic food.• Preview to the next diet episode

• INTRO – review past episodes introduce three people who all look average size.

• SUBTOPIC INTRO – explain that one is on a healthy diet, one is anorexic and the other has a bad diet

• DEVLOPEMENT OF SUBTOPIC – change all three of their diets to give them and the audience and insight to have other diets affect people and what's good and bad

INTERVIEWEES(I find it expensive and sometimes I feel for a healthy meal but due to my budget I cant

afford it so turn to shops like Sam’s which I know I shouldn’t eat constantly.)

PRESENTERI am in the area of Harlesden in London and many people share the same opinion but is

that a good thing?The UK has become a ‘fat nation’ and I’m here to inform you about the good, the bad and

the unhealthy.

VOICEOVERStatistics show that there are about 60% of unhealthy food shops in London compared to

healthy food shops.The chicken that is supplied in restaurants like KFC and McDonald’s is 50% water ect…

VOICEOVERIn the late 1900s’ and early 2000’s there was as little as 3 fast food shops in the area

that has risen by 4 in the year 2011.

PRESENTERI have two people with me who live in Harlesden, together we are running an experiment to

see if buying healthy food is really as expensive and long as it is made out to be.

VOICEOVERThe results are in, here is the price listAs you can see a complete burger at McDonalds is £3.99 whereas purchasing the ingredients for a ‘healthy’ burger adds up 10 £15.
