A wide range of different types are available both in aluminum and composite materials withpropellers or with waterjets. Whether it is a large offshore or light weight fast design, a self-righting
or a small boat operating very close to the shores Swede Ship has the design for your need.
At Swede Ship we design and build for your safety.
RESCUE VESSELS
The 8 m is a relatively small, open and fast rescue boat named the “Gunnel Larson class” by the Swedish rescue or-ganization, SSRS. It is designed primarily for operations in the archipelago and coastal areas where the crafts speed, fl exibility and maneuverability is crucial for the outcome of an accident. All equipment in the Gunnel Larson class has been developed with the ergonomics of the crew as an important aspect. Thanks to good ergonomics, the crew can carry out demanding missions in harsh weather conditions. The vessel is not only succesfully used by rescue organi-zations but also by private owners.
8 M HIGH SPEED RESCUE BOAT
8 m High Speed Rescue Boat - DataLength: 8.2 m
Width: 2.7 m
Draft: 0.4 m

Waterjet: 1 x RR FF270
Speed: 34 knots
Operation: approx. 8 h
Crew: 2-3 people
Based on the larger 12 m the 11 m is developed to be an affordable craft with small environmental footprint. The proto-type boat for the class is funded by a lottery and is hence called the “Postkodlotteri class”. The hull is equipped with a ballast tank that is fi lled under 8 knots. The tank is automatically emptied at higher speeds. This gives wanted stability at when lying still and at low ship speeds and also better fuel economy and lower waves at transit and top speeds. In collaboration with the Chalmers University of Technology a study has been made targeting a safer and better working environment for the crew.
11 M HIGH SPEED RESCUE BOAT
11 m High Speed Rescue Boat - DataLength: 11.6 m
Width: 4.0 m
Draft: 0.6 m
Material: FRP composite
Displacement: 6 ton
Engines: 2 x 300 hk OBM with electronic control
Speed: 34 knots
Operation: approx. 10 h
Crew: 3-4 people
The 12 meter high speed rescue craft has been built in more than 30 units and is operated by several rescue societies. The so called “Victoria Class” is designed for operations at open sea, along the coasts and in the archipelagos. The self-righting hull ensures that the boat turns back on even keel even if it is knocked down by large waves. The shallow draft waterjet equipped vessel allows for operation in shallow waters. The well proven design is characterized by the high controllability and good running characteristics in all weather conditions.

WELCOME TO SWEDE SHIP
Swede Ship has a long tradition in shipbuilding with 120 years of history. Deliveries to the Coast Guard and the Navy started back in 1937, welding in aluminum in the 1950’s and production in composite materials in 1979.
The group consist of three modern and highly specialized shipyards, Swede Ship Marine, Swede Ship Composite and Swede Ship Yachtservice, all situated on the west coast of Sweden.
All materials, steel, aluminum and composite is handled by the group. Service is offered att all locations. With an in-house engineering department new designs are made for all types of vessels as well as customization of designs and converions of existing ships.
In 2014 Swede Ship Sublift AB (www.sublift.se) was formed for the production and sales of Sublift self-propelled sub-mersible boat Hoists.
