Learn to Play Ice Hockey Thinking about registering your child for house league hockey? This learn to play ice hockey program teaches beginner players fun-damental skills required for house leagues. New Fire Safety Workshop: Parent & Child Start fire safety education young, with real Vaughan firefighters! Parent-assisted, fire prevention ac-tivities include: making a home fire escape plan with a Sparky doll; putting out a stove top fire and making a paper plate smoke alarm; tying firefighter ropes and knots, and touring a fire truck. Work-shops include a showing of 'Franklin & The Fire', a visit from Sparky the Fire Dog fire, and a firefighter helmet, colouring book and certificate from Vaughan Fire & Rescue Services.

• Structured, hands-on drills so that you'll leave the court, field or pool with improved individual skills and knowledge of the game.

• Friendly game play – includes mid-point competition and an end of session city-wide tournament.
