Scope
• Advisory Committee will meet three times
• AC will discuss the progress of the work programme of the project and its intermediate results
• Involvement of selected senior representatives of important target groups (especially national policy makers and RES-H/C industry representatives) serves as a means of dissemination of the project results in an early stage
• AC allows for information exchange between national policy makers
• All partners are supposed to attend the AC meetings
• Number of AC members will be minimum 10 external participants

Timing
• 1. AC meeting– February 2009 (back to back to 2. project meeting, London)– Focus: RES-H/C target setting (discussion of interim findings of
WP3)
• 2. AC meeting– November 2009 (back to back to 4. project meeting, Warshaw)– Focus: qualitative evaluation of selected RES-H/C policy options
(WP4)
• 3. AC meeting– October 2010 (back to back to 6. project meeting, Athens)– Focus: Discussion of policy recommendations

Composition
• German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, more or less confirmed
• European Renewable Energy Council (EREC), confirmed
• European RES-H/C technology specific Associations(e.g. ESTIF, AEBIOM, EGEC)
• Euroheat & Power
• E.ON Värme Sverige, confirmed
• Selected national policy makers (at least one per target country)
• Who else?

Next steps
• Partners from target countries identify representative from national policy sector
• Oeko responsible for AC members on EU level• Oeko will coordinate the approach of potential national AC
members• Timeline: AC should be set up by the end of this year
