THEMING REVAMP TO MAMBA FEATURE SLIDE HEAD

uShaka Marine World invites eligible and accredited service providers to submit a written quotation on their official letter head for the above service.

The quotation must be submitted with the following documents:

A valid tax clearance certificate

A current BEE certificate

Valid Letter of Good Standing for Workmen’s Compensation

Proof of Public Liability Insurance

Proof of Central Supplier Database Registration (CSD)

Declaration of Interest Forms

INTRODUCTION:

We would like to invite contractors with exceptional experience and knowledge on structural fibre glass repairs and artistic theming work on site for the revamping on our prop that are situated at the Splash Pool in the Waterpark.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Full turnkey revamp to revitalize the fiberglass head to original vibrant look.

This includes all preparation work as well as supply, delivery and installation of all materials and

labour required to carry out work.

The contractor must use 80% green shade cloth to cordon off area.

Types of paints used must be marine grade due to harsh surrounding environments.

A detailed plan with strict adherence to time allocation will be required.

Upon completion the contractor must supply a 3 year guarantee for workmanship and materials

that’s used.

NB: The elected contractor must comply with SANS 10400, OHS ACT 85 OF 1993 and all other

requirements as set out by uShaka HSE department. Contractor will need to adhere to specification

as set out in Scope of work set out above and a letter must be handed over upon completion along

with a certificate of conformity for materials used along with workmanship. A compulsory site visit

must be made in order to quote. Before commencing work, we would require a project plan from

start to end highlighting critical path as well as milestones with strict adherence to dates and

deadlines.

Prior to any quote submitted, a site inspection meeting must be held with the Project Manager –

Meeting Arrangements must be made via Procurement Department*

Quotation for the above mentioned, must be submitted, and marked “RFQ KM019- ‘’ THEMING REVAMP TO MAMBA FEATURE SLIDE HEAD

Must be placed in our quotation box, located at our main reception area, not later than 11h 00 on 07 October 2019

THE ADJUDICATION PROCESS The adjudication of this quote will be in terms of the example below, The Preferential Procurement Regulations 2011 and compliance with this Brief. Before a final decision is taken, USHAKA MARINE WORLD may wish to call suppliers in for presentations on their submissions.
