DATE: May 11, 2015
Introduction: The Reynolds School District is inviting you to submit a proposal to provide electrical and data drops to Areas #1 through #3 as shown on the following exhibits attached. The electrical contractor awarded this work will be expected to design build the infrastructure for these areas based on information provided, site visits and discussion with District Maintenance staff as required. The District is expecting data cabling to appropriate I/T closets with full connections as required. Network standards as appropriate are attached in Exhibit G. This includes fingerprinting and notary services.

Selection Criteria
The Reynolds School District may request Best and Final offers based upon improved understanding of the offers or changed scope of work. Based on the initial proposals, and Best and Final offers, if requested, a panel will select the proposal which best fulfills the requirements and is the best value to the District. Evaluation of the proposals is expected to be completed within 2 days after their receipt. The lowest price proposal will not necessarily be selected, proposals will be weighed on more than costs to insure that the District is procuring best value versus lowest price. Vendors who can provide all requested services in−house and as a single−point of contact, are preferred.

Usually Closet letter then a number like ‘A1’ – label on the patch panel and the plate on the wall. Each node must be properly terminated, tested and verified with appropriate documentation.
