1. GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe Municipality would like to appoint a contractor for the renovation work at Kagiso Mall (paypoint) shop no: 29 on behalf of Mogale City Local Municipality: Finance Section.

DETAILS OF CONTRACTThe minimum specification for the Renovation of Kagiso Mall - Pay Point is as follows:

1. Construction camp establishment2. Construct temp dust screens3. Interior construction and finishing works: floors, Walls, doors, fix fittings, etc.4. Supply and Install new Bulletproof window and aluminium Frame5. Supply and Install New Bullet proof Door 6. The making good of all surfaces to prepare remainder of office for new finishes7. Painting8. Tiling9. Installation of new joinery fittings as per the drawing no: 200010. Skirting installation 11. Electrical Installation 12. Clean site of works 13.Snagging, testing and hand over to the MCLM.

FUNCTIONALITYEVALUATION CRITERIA

FUNCTIONALITY SCORINGThe RFQ will be evaluated on the basis of the 80/20 point system as stipulated in thePreferential Procurement Policy Framework Act.

o 80 points for Priceo 20 points for BBBEE level of contribution

The below mentioned criteria regarding functionality are required for responsiveness. If the minimum of 06 points is not scored for functionality the proposal will be rejected. A bidder that scores less than 06 points in respect of functionality will be disqualified. If any criterion is rated zero points, the tenderer will be rejected, even if the required 06 out of 10 points are achieved.

o Previous experience in this field as well as references (6 points).o Resources available to execute this project (4 points)

For purposes of comparison and in order to ensure meaningful evaluation, bidders areRequested to furnish detailed information in substantiation of compliance to functionality criteria mentioned. A bidder that scores less than 06 points in respect of functionality will be disqualified.

All quotations received will be evaluated on the 80/20 point scoring basis. The 80 points will be for Price and 20 points are for Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) for attaining the BBBEE status level of contribution in accordance with the table below:
