Representation of Youth: How do you think youth is represented in Waterloo Road? Teenagers are rebellious by boasting about their rule breaking. Teenagers humiliate their younger siblings using name calling and embarrassing names to try and gain popularity amongst fellow teenagers. Teenagers are loud and disruptive and they are provocative. They think they are patronising and superior by thinking they can humiliate people, they think they own the school. They use slang words instead of using proper English which means they are uneducated. They are lazy, scruffy and they don’t have standards. Teenage girls are bitchy The hero is an anti-stereotype, stands up for the humiliated boy, he is role model
