    Congratulaons!InpurchasingtheLWRCIRapidEngagementPrecisionRifle,younowhavethe

    most capable7.62x51mmNATOsemiautoma3crifle inthe world.LWRCIs goalwas todesign

    anddelivera rifle thatwas morereliable,userfriendlyandwhileasaccurateasacustombolt

    ac3on sniper rifle. The system is user configurable for day or night use. The system was

    designedto usemul3pleupperreceivergroupsfroma short12.7barreleduppertothe 20

    Sniperupper.

    The system is loosely based on theStoner AR architecture to preserve thefeeland muscle

    memoryassociatedwithriflesbased ontheStoner design. Thatis where the familiarityends.

    Thebarreltoreceiverinterfaceisalmostthree3mes morerobustthananyotherrifle. Barrels

    are coldrotary hammer forged over a precision mandrel and boast perfect bores that are

    consistentin concentricity 0.0002. Thebarrelis finishedmachinedin profiles to maximize

    accuracyandminimize theadverseeffects ofbarrelwhipandharmonics.Atargetcrownis used

    tomaximizehit probability. Thebarrel is finished in theNiCorr surface conversionprocess.NiCorr is harderthanchromeand offersalowercoefficientoffric3on addingtobarrel lifeand

    muzzlevelocity. Itmakesthebarrelseasier tocleanas theydo notfoul withcopperas readily

    andarevirtuallyimpervioustocorrosion.Thematerialchosenforthebarrel isthesameused

    ontheM2.50calibermachinegun.

    The weapon features a le side nonreciproca3ng charging handle with integrated forward

    assist. This allows theusertooperatetheac3onwithoutcheekweldandthus keepeyes on

    target. It alsoallowedLWRCIto seal theupperandlowerreceiverattherear endpreven3ng

    gasfrombeingpropelledintotheuserseyewhenasuppressorisused.

    Thereis a gasadjustmentfeature allowinga broaduseofammuni3ontypesavailable,op3mize

    thesystemforsuppressoruse,orshutoffthegasen3relyforamanuallyoperatedrifle.

    Allmoving parts oftheac3on are coatedin NiBor. NiBor is a very hardpla3ng process that

    includesaNickelcompositethatacts as apermanentlubricantminimizingtheneedforbreakin,

    orliquidlubrica3on.

    2.0 GeneralDescriponoftheR.E.P.R.SeriesofRifles:

    The Rapid Engagement Precision Rifle (R.E.P.R.) series are gas piston operated, rotary bolt,

    magazinefed, aircooled, selfloading rifles chambered in 7.62x51mmNATO/.308 Win fromLWRCInterna3onal.

    R.E.P.R.sareavailableinanumberofconfigura3onstofillavarietyofmissionprofiles;

    A. R.E.P.R. 20 Model Fied with a heavy profile 20(508mm) barrel, 2stage adjustable

    match gradetrigger and bustock with adjustablecheekpieceandlength of pull , it is

    intendedasaprecisionriflesuitableforengagingpointtargetsoutto1000m.

    B. R.E.P.R.18ModelFied withamediumheavy profile18(457mm),2stagematchgrade

    trigger and telescoping bu stock., this model is suitable for use as a Designated

    MarksmansRifleforpointtargetengagementsoutto800m.

    C. R.E.P.R. 16 Model Fied with a medium profile 16(406mm), Enhanced Service Fire

    ControlGroup(Semi or SelectFire)andtelescopingbustock,this is a BaleRiflethatcan

    engagepointtargetsoutto600m.

    All R.E.P.R.shavehightolerancecoldhammerforgedbarrels madefrom41V45steel,ultrarigid

    receiver to barrel interfacesand freefloa3ng handguards. This makes them capableof very

    highaccuracywithappropriatematchqualityammuni3on.

    Designedfortherigors ofmilitary andlawenforcement,the R.E.P.R.series isextremelyrobust

    and suited to the demands of field opera3ons without the need for excessive care and

    maintenance.

    2.1.6.1 SelectorLever(14.)

    Located onthele side of thelower receiver, theselector lever func3onsasthemanualsafetyofthe R.E.P.R.and alsothe firecontrolselectoronselectfire weapons.Thereceiveris

    markedwithpictogramsofallthreemodesoffire:

    SAFE= Preventsthetriggerfromreleasingthetrigger.

    SEMIAUTOMATIC= Allowsoneshotperpullofthetrigger.

    AUTOMATIC= Riflewillshootandloadmulpleshotsunlthetriggeris

    released.

    All LWRCI rifles are marked with all theAUTO seng however theAUTO seng is only

    func3onalina selectfireweapon(Military andLawEnforcementOnly). TheAUTOsengcannotbeengagedinasemiautoma3cweapon.

    SAFEcanonlybeengagedwhentheweaponischargedandthetriggeriscocked.

    2.1.6.2 Trigger(15.)

    The Trigger is used to fire the weapon. It is enclosed by the Trigger Guard. R.E.P.R. 18

    equippedwith MATCH 2stagetriggers. Thesehavea heavierandlonger 1st stage(approx.

    4lbspull)andalighter,crisp2ndstagebreak(approx.1lb.).R.E.P.R. 20is equippedwith an

    adjustable2stagetrigger. PleasefollowGeissele Automa3cs instruc3ons for adjus3ngthe

    trigger.

    CAUTION: Adjus3ngthetriggertoaverylowpull weightcancause a significantsafety issue

    ona selfloading rifle. LWRCI does notsuggest youadjustthetrigger. Ithas beenfactory

    tunedonaprecisionjig.

    CAUTION: LWRCI only advocates the use of the fire control group supplied with your

    weapon.Theyhavebeenthoroughlytestedthroughdroptes3ng,andenvironmental tes3ng

    toensuresafeuseinthefield.Therearesinglestagematchtriggersonthemarketthatin

    ouropinionareunsafeforuseonanopera3onalfirearm.

    CAUTION: Installingaermarket accessoriesthat extendinto thetrigger guard areaof the

    weaponarediscouragedandunnecessaryandcancauseanegligentdischarge.

    2.1.6.3 ChargingHandle(8.)

    TheCharging Handle onthe le side oftheR.E.P.R. isused tochargethe weapon and/or

    retracttheBoltCarrierGroup. Itis nonreciproca3ng.AForwardAssistorSilentBoltClosure

    is builtintotheChargingHandleandisac3vatedbydepressingtheChargingHandleKnobto

    engagetheboltcarrier,then pushingthecarrierforward intobaerywhile keepingtheKnob

    pressedin.

    2.1.6.4 MagazineRelease(23.)

    Thiscontrolis locatedontherighthandsideoftheLowerReceiver,Adjacenttothetople

    hand side of the Magazine Well. It is shielded by a cutout in the receiver so that the

    magazineis notuninten3onally released. It isusedtoreleasethe MagazineCatch whichallowstheMagazinetodropfreeorbepulledout.

    CAUTION:RemovingtheMagazine does notmaketheweaponsafe.R.E.P.R.canbefiredwith

    theMagazineremoved.Forinstruc3onstoCLEARtheweapon,see..

    2.1.6.5 BoltCatch(17.and25.)

    R.E.P.R.is equippedwithambidextrous boltcatchcontrols onbothle (17.)andright (25.)

    sides ofthe LowerReceiver.Theyare usedtoreleasethe BoltCarrierGroupfromthe locked

    openposi3onor tolocktheBoltCarrierGroupbackwhenthereis a filledmagazine orno

    magazineloadedintheMagazineWell.This isdonebydepressingthelowerpor3onofeither

    BoltCatchwhile retrac3ngthe ChargingHandleallthewayto therear.ReturntheCharging

    Handletotheforwardposi3onaer.Pressingtheupperpaddlesec3onoftheBoltCatchwill

    release theboltcarrier groupwhich will sendit forwardintobaery under power ofthe

    returnspring.

    CAUTION:ReleasingtheBoltCatchwithaloadedMagazinewillloadtheweapon.

    2.1.6.6 GasRegulator

    TheGas Regulatoradjuststhevolumeof gas directed into thepiston. Thereare 4 detent

    posi3ons, Closed (marked C), Suppressed (marked S), Normal (marked N) and Adverse

    (markedA). Themarkingthat isat 12 oclock, nearest thetoprail andfurthest from the

    barrelindicatesthesenginuse.Theshapeoftheknobis irregularorellip3calallowingthe

    shooter to determine the posi3onof the regulator in the dark. Learn the shape of the

    regulator remembering the protuberant feature on the regulator knob in rela3on to a

    landmarkontheweaponsoyoucanfeelitsposi3oninthedark.

    CAUTION:Thegasregulatorandgasblockcanbeoneofthehoestpartsoftheweapon.If

    youhavebeenfiringtheweapon,theregulatorWILLBEHOTENOUGHTOBURNYOU.Usea

    flattoolonthefaceoftheregulatortoturnitifitishot.

    TheClosedsengcutsoffallgasfromthepistonsystemsotheweaponwillnotcyclewhenfired.Thisisforspecificmissionuse suchasa requirementtopalmorretainthebrassona

    tac3calmission. It canbe usedwhenfiringsubsonicammuni3onwith a suppressorwhich

    guaranteesthere is no movement of theac3on for thequietest employment of therifle

    possible.

    CAUTION:The closedgas sengmaybea liabilityforsomeunitsorpoorlytrainedendusers

    whodonotensuretheir weaponisina func3onalmodeforselfloading.Ifthis isthecase,

    LWRCIcan supply a gas regulator without theclosed seng. Completeweapons can be

    orderedthisway.

    Suppressed seng is used in conjunc3on with Sound Suppressors to reduce gas back

    pressure caused by the suppressor. Some suppressors create more backpressure than

    others andthereforeyoumaynot needto usethe suppressedseng withyour par3cular

    suppressor. Witha suppressorontheSuppressedsengyourweapondemonstratessigns

    ofbeingundergassed(failuretoextract,failuretolockbackonanemptymagazine)thenrun

    yourrifleontheNNormalseng.

    Follow the instruc3ons supplied by your suppressor manufacturer for installa3on of the

    suppressor,the suppressormuzzle device/mount.LWRCIhasdoneextensivetes3ngwiththeLWRCIsuppressor,theSurefiresuppressor,andtheAdvancedArmamentsuppressor. The

    SurefiresuppressorsgenerallyrunintheNNormalseng.

    Normal seng is thedefault seng for nonsuppressed opera3on. This is tuned to the

    heavy match gradecartridges like M118LR orFederal GMM. Ejec3onshouldbe at the4

    oclockposi3on. Ifyouarefiring hotloads,the ejec3onpaernwill movetowardthe2

    oclockposi3ons. This means theboltcarrier velocity ishigherthanop3mal. Itdoesnot

    mean any harm will come totheweapon, but increases thechancesof a bolt over base

    stoppage.Apo

    Adversesengisonlyusedwhentheweaponisopera3ngsluggishlyduetoextremeand/or

    verylowtemperatureorverylowpressureammuni3on.

    2.1.6.6 EjeconPortCover(21.)

    The ejec3on port cover is spring loadedwith a closing detent. It will automa3cally open

    whentheBoltCarriercyclesandremainopenun3l closedmanually.Ejec3onshouldalways

    bemanuallyclosedaeracourseoffireandthesitua3onisassessedasnonthreatening.

    2.1.6.7 PusherScrews(19.)

    Atthefrontof theLower Rail(6.)are thepairof PusherScrewsthat keepthe TopRail(5.)

    correctly indexedtotheLowerRail.Theyare cap3vetotheLowerRail andwillnotfallout.

    Theknurledheadallowsthemtobefinger3ghtenedandaslotallowstheuseofacartridge

    rimorcointotorquethem3ght. Neveruse excessiveforceto 3ghtenthese screws. There

    areVitonOringsthatwhencompressedwillpreventthesefromvibra3ngloose.

    2.1.6.8 CheekPieceAdjustment(29.)(APPLIESTOR.E.P.R.20ONLY)

    This knobis usedtoraise orlowerthe heightofthe CheekPiece(0.).Facingtheleside of

    theweaponwiththestocktotheright,theknobisrotatedtotheletoraisetheCheek

    Pieceandtherighttolowerit.

    2.1.6.9LengthofPullAdjustment(31.)(APPLIESTOR.E.P.R.20ONLY)Thisfeatureallows you to op3mizeyourlengthof pull(bustock length)ensuringperfect

    eyerelief with your op3c and op3mal comfortand shoo3ng posi3on. Rota3ng this knob

    upwardsusingthe sameorienta3onas aboveextends theBuPlateandthe LengthofPull.

    Rota3ngitdownwardsclosestheBuPlateandshortenstheLengthofPull.

    Theuserwill notethatthereisgreatreduc3oninfeltrecoil,andtheshooterwill becapable

    of faster and more accuratefollow up shots if therifle is properly fied through proper

    adjustmentofthesefeatures.

    3.1 GeneralSafetyProcedures:

    .1.1 Whenever handlingany weapon,pointthemuzzleina safe direc3onas itas soonas

    youpicktheweaponup,thenCLEARtheweapon.See..1to..5.Ensurechamberis

    clear.

    .1.2 Whenever handingover your weapontoanotherperson,clear theweaponfirst and

    handit over with the bolt lockedto the rear by the bolt catch. Whenreceivinga

    weaponfrom another person insist that they clear it and lock thebolt to therear

    beforeaccep3ngtheweapon.Checkthe chambertoensuretheweaponisclearwhen

    youaccepttheweapon.

    .1. Alwaysensureyouarefiringthe correctcaliberammuni3onthroughyourweapon.To

    ensure proper func3on and safety LWRCI recommends using only factory loaded

    ammuni3on that complieswith the Spor3ng Arms and Ammuni3on Manufacturers

    Ins3tute(SAAMI),Commission Interna3onalePermanentepourl'Epreuve desArmes

    FeuPorta3ves (CIP),NATO,orammuni3onloadedtoU.S.Militaryspecifica3onsforthe

    weapon. LWRCI doesnt guarantee your weapons safety or performance when

    u3lizingreloadedorsurplusammuni3on.

    .1.4 Checkyourweapons boretoensureitis freefromobstruc3ons beforefiring. In the

    event that the weapon is dropped or the muzzle touches the ground, unload and

    ensurethe weaponboreisfree fromobstruc3on.Ifitis darkandthetac3calsitua3on

    permits,useaflashlighttoensurethere isnotanobstruc3on. Ifthetac3cal situa3on

    callsfor light discipline, dropa cleaning rod through theboreto ensure there isno

    obstruc3on.

    .1.5 Prior tofiringyourweapon,knowyourintendedtargetandwhatliesbeyond. Ensure

    that there is an adequate backstop or open space free from people or any other

    AlthoughR.E.P.R.is designedto cyclewitha broadspectrumof ammuni3on, it is

    op3mizedfor usewithheavy bullet loads. With a 1in10inchrateof rifling, thebarrels are designed to stabilize heavy bullets up to 190 grains. The design

    ammuni3onis M118LR Match ammuni3onwith the175 grainSierra Match King

    Unlocking

    ini3ates the rearward movement (recoil stroke) of the BoltCarrier

    Group. Asthe Bolt Carrier travelsto the rear,the CamPin rotates

    theBolt,thusunlockingitfromthebarrelextension.

    ExtraconAstheBoltCarrierGroupcon3nuesthroughtherecoilstrokethe

    expendedcartridgeisdrawnfromthechamberbytheextractor.

    EjeconOncetheexpendedcartridgeisclearofthechamberitisejected

    fromtheweaponbythespringloadedEjector.

    Cocking

    Semi As the Bolt Carrier Group con3nues to the rear it cocks the

    Hammer which is ini3ally retained by the Disconnector. As the

    shooter disengages the trigger, the Disconnector releases the

    hammer allowingit to becapturedby theTrigger(this isknown as

    Reset).

    Auto As thebolt carrier group con3nuesto the rear it cocks the

    hammerwhichisretainedbytheautosear.Concurrentlytherearof

    thebolt carrier will trip theauto sear releasing the hammer and

    firing the round. When the trigger is depressed and held, the

    weaponwillcyclecon3nuouslythroughthefiringsequenceun3lthe

    triggerisreleasedorthemagazineisdepleted.

    When the user releases thetrigger, the hammer is caught by the

    hammer/triggerengagementsurfaceanddoesnotallowtheweapon

    tofireagainun3lthetriggerispulled.

    Feeding

    The recoil stroke concludeswhen the Buffer halts the Bolt Carrier

    Group. The Recoil Spring, compressed during the recoil stroke,

    drivestheboltcarrier groupforwardcommencingthecounterrecoil

    stroke.AstheBoltCarrierreturnsforwardthenextroundisstripped

    fromthetop ofthe Magazineand directedintothechamber bythe

    feedramps.

    ChamberingAstheboltcarriergroupcon3nuesthecounterrecoilstrokethe

    roundisseatedinthechamber.

    Locking

    Astheboltcarriergroupcompletesthecounterrecoilstrokethebolt

    6.0 Maintenance

    Maintainingyourweaponproperlyrequiresnotonlyimmediatepreandpostfiringcleaningbut

    replacement of consumable parts to ensure 100% reliability and accuracy of the product

    throughoutits lifespan. Keepanaccurate logofeveryroundfiredthroughtheweapon.Even

    wri3ngdownaes3mateofhowmanyroundswerefiredonagivendaywill helpyoutoperform

    scheduledmaintenanceon thesystem. LWRCIhas developeda Black Box pistol grip that

    allowsyoutodownloadinforma3onfromyourrifledependingonthesowareyouchoosefor

    therifle. Itcangiveyouanexactroundcount, itcanprovideadateand3mestampfor every

    roundfiredandcanevensuggestwhensomethingneedstobereplacedbasedontheround

    count. Pleasecall LWRCIifyouareinterestedinthistechnology. This manualisanOperators

    manual anddoes not cover replacementof partsoutsideof thosethat canbereplacedona

    fieldstrip. Itis encouragedthatonlya cer3fiedarmorershoulddisassembleandreplaceparts

    beyondthosethatareremovedina fieldstrip. LWRCI canconductmaintenanceforyouwitha

    same day turnaround if you choose. The whole weapon will be inspected and gauged,consumableswillbereplaced,itwillbetestfired,cleanedandreturnedtoyouwithareport.

    6.1 Disassembly(FieldStrip)

    Frequency:Theweaponshouldbedisassembledtoits major groupsandassemblies when

    conduc3ngRou3neOperator Level Maintenance(asdeterminedby unit). Forconvenience

    the Upper Receiver can remain connected to the Lower Receiver (weapon broken down

    shotgunstyle)duringRou3neOperatorLevel Maintenance.Layyourpartsoutfromleto

    rightinthesequencetheyareremovedfromtheweaponsothatuponreassembly,youjust

    remainingcarbonresiduewitharag(ragmaybedampenedincleaningsolvent).

    (NOTE:Thegaspistonnozzleshouldbecompletelydrybeforereassemblingthe

    weapon.Donotapplylubricantsasthiswillcausefoulingwhenfired).

    6.5.6 ScrubtheGasPistonCupinsideandoutwithadrybrasswirebrush.Applyalightcoat

    oflubricanttotheoutsideofthepistoncupandwipeoffanyexcesslubricantor

    residuewitharag. (NOTE:Asageneralprac3ce,donotintroduceanylubricantintotheinsideofthe

    pistoncupasthismaycausefoulingwhenfired).

    6.5.7 Iftheweaponistobestoredforalongerperiodof3me,placealightcoa3ngofCLPon

    theNozzleandreassemble.Theusercanwipeofftheexcesspriortofiring.Itis

    inconsequen3altofunc3oniftheuserdoesnotwipeoffexcessCLPpriortofiring,but

    itmaycausesomesmokeasthelubricantburnsoffwithanaggressivefiringschedule.

    6.5.8 ScrubtheOpera3ngRodAssemblywithaGPbrushdippedincleaningsolventorCLP

    (thesewillbeverycleantostartwithastheyarenotdirectlyexposedtocarbon).

    ThoroughlywipeawayanyremainingcleaningsolventorCLPwitharag.Applyalight

    6.6.1 When opera3ng in adverse environments LWRC Interna3onal recommends u3lizing

    firingyourweapon.IfweaponsmustbegroundedstuffaragintotheMagazineWell.

    6.6. Inblowingsandorsnowcondi3onsconductfrequentfunc3onschecks ofyourweapon

    andtakeevery opportunitytoremovesandor snowfromyourweapon.Asmallpaint

    brushis highly recommendedforthistask. Blowsandfromweaponwithcompressed

    airifavailable.

    6.6.4 Do not lubricate the interior of the Upper Receiver or exterior of the Gas Piston

    components when opera3ng under field condi3ons in extremely sandy or snowy

    environments.

    6.6.5 When performing rou3ne maintenance remove theTop Rail and brush any sand or

    snowfromthepistoncomponents.

    6.6.6 Applypointlubrica3onassparinglyaspossible.

    6.7 SpecialArccEnvironmentConsideraons

    6.7.1 Keepweapons at ambientoutdoor temperature wheneverpossibleand useanarc3c

    ratedlubricant.

    6.7.2 Ifweaponsmustbe broughtintoawarmarea,allowweaponstowarmuptotheroom

    temperature,detaildisassembleandperformDetailed Maintenance. Pay par3cularaen3on to removing all condensa3on from weapon before going back into cold

    temperatures.

    6.7. Even if weapons are kept outdoors, temperatures can fluctuate above and below

    freezing causing condensa3on to develop then freeze in the weapons moving

    components.Performfrequentfunc3onscheckstoensureweaponisoperable.

    6.7.4 If weapon is dropped in the snow clean it immediately. At a minimum break the

    weapondownshotgun styleand remove any snowfromtheupper receiver andbolt

    carrier.Cleansnowfromgaspistoncomponents.Ensureboreisclear.

    6.7.5 IfyourweapondoesfreezeshutDONOTFIREITtounjamtheweapon.Warmweaponwithbodyheat ora campstove(holdweaponatleasteightinchesabove flame and

    remove magazineprior towarming)un3lunjammed thenclean or fireimmediately.

    6.8 LubricantsandCleaners

    TheR.E.P.R.is compa3blewithall standardU.S.Military andNATOspecifiedsmall arms

    lubricants and cleaners. The manufacturer recommends SLIP 2000 EWL (extreme

    WeaponsLubricant).Ifchangingfromone lubricanttoanothercleanoffoldlubricantbyscrubbingpartswithsolvent,e.g.SimpleGreenorSLIP 2000CarbonKiller. Toremove

    copper fouling, LWRCI suggests Sweet's 7.62 Bore Cleaning Solvent. Follow

    manufacturerinstruc3onsforsafeuse.

    LubricaonTerms:

    LightCoatAlightcoatoflubricantis notreadilyvisible totheeye.Applylubricantand

    wipeoffexcesswithacleancloth.

    Moderate CoatAmoderatecoatof lubricantshouldbe justvisible totheeye. Apply

    lubricantdirectlytopartandspreadorapplywithabrush,clothorfinger.

    PointLubricaonLubrica3onappliedtopivotpoints orrecessed parts. Applyacouple

    ofdropstothepivotpointandworkpartbackandforthtodistributelubricant.

    6.9 RailMaintenanceandNotes

    TheR.E.P.R.featuresa freefloateduserconfigurablerailsystem.The raildoesnotcome

    intocontactwithanypartofthebarrelallowingtheuseofaccessories,abipodorthe

    railitselfasasupportsurfacewithoutaffec3ngthepointofimpactofthebullet.The

    railhasa monolithic profile12 oclockrailthat perfectlymates totherail on the upper

    receiverallowingthe stackingofsigh3ngdevices.The ,6,and9oclockrail sec3onsare

    userconfigurable.Youcaninstall one ofseveral availablerailsec3onstoanypor3on of

    therail tubedependentonwhereyouusuallymountyouraccessories.This wasdoneto

    cut the weight of the rifle, and make the user interface with the system more

    comfortable.

    6.9.2 There are several configura3ons of rails and sling adapter rail sec3ons available.Please see the LWRCI WebStore to order addi3onal rail sec3ons, lengths and

    configura3ons. To installarail sec3on,usethesuppliedAllenheadmachinescrews

    (they have preapplied threadlocker already applied to them) and match the

    installa3on holes on the rail sec3on to the appropriate holes in the rail system.

    Installthescrews usinga5/64th Allenwrenchtonomorethan 15inch/lbs. Ensure

    they areall 3ghtenedtothesametorque. IfyouremovetheAllenheadscrewto

    reposi3onarail sec3on,ensureyoudegreasethe screwandtheholewith asuitable

    degreasing solu3on (e.g. alcohol, acetone etc.). Apply blue LockTite or suitable

    6.9. ThebarrelnutoftheR.E.P.R.alsoactsas therail mount.Itisnotrecommendedyou

    removetherail oftheR.E.P.R.as thereisno requirementtodoso atthe operator

    level.

    6.9.4 The R.E.P.R. comes witha polymer heat shield handguard. Several lengths are

    availablefromLWRCIontheLWRCIWebStore.They areinstalledwith5/64thAllen

    headmachinescrewsineachholeintheboomofthehandguard.

    6.9.2 Thereare smallCClips thatmake thepusher screwcap3ve. Inthe rareevent this

    becomes dislodgedor lost,a standard CClipfor anM16 ejec3onport rod can be

    used. Withthetop rail removed, screw inthepusher screw all the way. With

    needlenosepliers,installtheCClipto thegroovetowardthe nose ofthepusher

    screw.

    6.9. Duringnormal use,therail willbecomefouledwithcarbonandsomecopperresidue

    from jacketedammuni3on. Ifle,thecopper will turn ablue/green color.This is

    purelycosme3candwillnotadverselyaffecttheweapon.Youcanremoveitwitha

    coppersolvent. Youshouldalways inspect theinsideof the toprail toensure the

    foulingdoesnotinterferewithpistonopera3on.
