Wasson We are proud of our three Pequeños in Peru who won the scholarship “Beca 18 Albergue”. This scholarship is a new project of the Peruvian government and offers the children with high academic performance who live in residential care centers the opportunity to access to high quality education in universities and technological colleges in Lima. The Ministry of Education covers the costs of food, study materials, local transportation and accommodation during their studies. Additionally, the students will receive a laptop, private health insurance, ongoing mentoring system and English courses. Vilma, Leticia and Atahualpa could apply for this scholarship because of their high school performance. They passed the entrance exam and went through a long selection process successfully. During a ceremony on Monday 16 th of September the Peruvian President Ollanta Humala handed out the scholarship to the new students in the Palace in Lima. Leticia 18 years old Hotel Management Vilma 18 years old Business Administration Atahualpa 17 years old Industrial Engineering This is one of the success stories of NPH Peru. Another time where we have shown that our education quality standards have paid off. We wish our three new students the best of luck on their way to a brighter furure.
