International Actuarial Platform (IAP)

• Actuarial knowledge is provided in many ways (documents / videos / congresses / …) by a large number of actuarial associations and similar institutions worldwide

• In general, knowledge is stored locally (e.g. access only via institution’s homepage) or is not provided permanently (e.g. conference contributions)

• So far, there is no established platform that enables actuaries to search these databases or that archives “volatile” content permanently

• The ICA 2018 gives the opportunity to structure this knowledge, make it available to a wider audience and raise the awareness of actuaries worldwide

• Building a knowledge database for ICA and colloquia content onlydoes not create enough traffic for a successful platform

• Joint platform for all actuarial activities necessary:

Developing a comprehensive concept for all relevant activities

Bringing together all stakeholder interested in actuarial knowledge services, eLearning or up-to-date congress support for national and international target groups

DAV is willing to take a leading role in this project!
