Report on Awareness Programs held during Digital India Week in

District Dindori (M.P.)

DAY 1 : On the launching day of Digital India Week, the MLA of

Shahpura Assembly, Shri OmPrakash Dhurve launched the e-Registry

project at District Registrar Office in Collectorate Bhawan.

On the same day, at 4 PM the live webcasting of the Launching program of

Digital India Week by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India from New Delhi was

shown at Collectorate Meeting Hall where all the District Officers attended the

live event.

DAY 2 : On the second day of the Digital India Week, a workshop was organized

for the Data Entry Operators in the Collectorate Meeting Hall and an interactive

session was held describing the objectives and Infrastructure of the Digital India

Program.

DAY 3 : On the third day, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh took an

session with all the Educational Institutes of the state connected under the

Virtual Classroom Programme. And all Virtual Classroom sites of Dindori

participated in the event and One of the Student from Amarpur Excellence

School directly interacted with Chief Minister on the occasion.

On the same day, an awareness programme was held in Janpad Panchayat,

Amarpur, where CEO Janpad Panchayat and all the Janpad employees,

Panchayat Sachiv and Rojgar Sahayaks were explained the core components of

Digital India Programme and its objectives.

DAY 4 : On the fourth day, Quiz programs were organized in the Excellence

School of Dindori, where students participated in Debates and Essay competitions.

At the event students were also briefed about the Digital India programme and

various e-Governance initiatives such as Digital Locker and how useful Digital

locker can be in the future.

DAY 6 : On the day 6, three events were taken place, in first event all the District

Department Heads were briefed with a presentation on Digital India Initiatives

and given a thorough description about each vertical under the Digital India

Campaign.

In the another event at Dindori District Hospital, all the Block Medical Officers,

Computer operators were explained the e-Hospital services offered under the

umbrella of Digital India Initiative.

Another event held on Day 6 for Dindori Janpad Panchayat where CEO Janpad

Panchayat and all concerned Panchayat Sachivs, Rojgar Sahayaks, Panchayat

Samanvayaks were present and were explained about the Digital India

Programme.

DAY 7 : On the last day of the DIW, students from Government Middle School,

Dindori visited the District Informatics Centre and participated in the Digital

Wellness Online Challenge going live in the Digital India Week. On the

completion of the quiz, the students were given the Participation Certificates

generated by the portal.

In the other event held at Mother Teresa School, students and teachers present

there, were given a detailed presentation about the Digital India Plan. Each pillar

of the Digital India Initiative were briefly explained in the presentation including

Digital Locker, Scholarship Portal and e-Greetings.

In another event at Zila Panchayat Office, all employees including the technical

staff, Programme Officer and Account Officer attended the workshop program. All

were given a presentation, describing the Objectives and Infrastructure of the

Digital India plan.

- District Informatics Centre, Dindori
