Operating instructions

Keep track of your repairs –The InfoTip "Repair Tracking Service" (RTS) is online!For the first time, InfoTip RTS provides you, the specialised dealer, with a manufacturer-wide logistics and information portal.

Coordination, processing and tracking of your service and repair orders can now be performed centrally via a common platform.

RTS was designed as a manufacturer-wide online logistics and information platform. In cooperation with FORD and BLAUPUNKT, we are offering you, as specialised dealer, this service free of charge.

Your advantages at a glance:All the information about special service offers or handling are stored and displayed separately for each device. Simply enter the product data of the device, and you receive the necessary information about the service solu-tion of the manufacturer specifically for this device. If the order is placed, all required documents and the correct shipping documents are generated. Time delays or additional expenditure due to incorrect shipments are a thing of the past.

To facilitate the new system, the individual operating steps for registration and processing of BLAUPUNKT service cases are listed here.We always welcome any suggestions you may have. Simply write to us at [email protected].

The registration – Four steps to the portalThe use of InfoTip RTS is free of charge.

After an initial login under http://www.infotip-rts.co.uk, you are enabled.

If you want to register as a new member, please select the area "New user?" under http://www.infotip-rts.co.uk. The system requests all the required data in four steps in a self-explanatory dialogue.

Important: Your are asked to enter a personal user name and a personal password known only to yourself as well as your e-mail address. Since the system distinguishes case-sensitive entries, please record your data using the correct spelling.

Next, all additional data are requested, such as your company name, your customer number for Blaupunkt (4271628), and the most important contact information. Mandatory fields are identified by a red square .

In the field "login_wizard_coopId_title", enter your individual Ford dealer code. This dealer code must be valid for the Ford Central Billing System.

Finally, all the data are displayed in an overview with the option of making any final changes.

If everything is correct, click on "register" at the end of the form.

The data are then transmitted to us. After a brief check, you receive a confirmation by e-mail within 24 hours, whether and when you will be registered for the portal.

The exact steps are described in chapter 1, "Register as a new customer".

Please enter the 10-digit Blaupunkt item number (always starting with 7612...).

If you select "repair at cost", the prices are shown in the next step.

If you select "in warranty repair", you must enter the initial registration date of the vehicle.

If you click on the wrench, the location of the Blaupunkt item number is displayed.

Upon confirmation of your order, we generally send you a replacement device at the replacement price within 24 hours. If you do not return the defective device within 10 working days, you will be invoiced the difference to the price of the new device.The defective device is collected only if you call up this collection order again in InfoTip RTS and finalise the order by supplying the shipping document number of our advance replacement shipment.Please process the return shipment of the defective device only via InfoTip RTS; otherwise, the processes cannot be assigned.In case of a warranty, you will be send a repair report with WAN number after send-ing in the defective device.

Please package the problem device safely in the original packaging of the advance replacement device and select "Originalverpackt (Original packaging)".
